I used this rack to mount some basic home networking equipment in a closet. The dimensions were exactly as advertised and it fit perfectly. The construction is extremely solid. My cabling leaves a little to be desired, but it’s only the first stage of the project. The frame is stout, the screw holes were all completely without issues of needing to be tapped. Went together somewhat quickly with an impact gun for the nuts, bolts, and screws. I had no problems setting it up and have no fears of leaving expensive electronics hanging off my wall studs. Things I don’t like: -Screws are long for mounting to the face, they’re like an inch long. And they could have included more, you’ll not have enough for 6+ 1U devices or shelves. Not really a problem, just thought it was weird. -the supplied washers for those smaller screws are essentially made of aluminum foil and buckle immediately when being tightened. ... show more

Awesome rack! That said design was great for putting together but the screws would not thread into holes on one side on closer examination the paint on the problem side had filled the beginning threads. I used a wire brush to remove it and the only reason it’s not a 5 star. I write this review for the supplier to see if they can keep this from happening in the future. I mounted this in my garage for my network equipment. This rack is straight 10U, with space 1 and 10 being the top and bottom. So you can mount equipment directly to those slots or you can use the plates they provide. Easy to install and very durable. Very happy with the product, probably would be great if they offered the rack without shelves as now I'm just sitting on these. ... show more

This is a great addition for my office and all my equipment. It was easy to build and is very sturdy. Metal is solid and very versatile if you wanted to wall mount. Mine is stationary on shelving. Would highly recommend.

This is a very sturdy rack. I have it hung in the master bedroom closet of our apartment where all of the wiring leads back to. For the money, I dont think it can beat. My two items of feedback for it... 1.) I wish it used the regular cage nuts. A lot of accessories, servers, switches, etc are supplied with the square nuts. I had to go to lowes to buy additional screws and washers. They have the cage nut holes on the side so why not the front? 2.) The blank panels that came with it have screw holes that you must align exactly. Most screw holes are oblong. I had to use a spreader to push the top of the rack apart to install the blank. I'm going to replace the blank with an exhaust fan later this week as well as add a couple of inlet fans to the bottom of the rack to make sure airflow is moving across the back of the rack. ... show more
