This works with my keyboard and mouse when I plug it into my laptop, not just for charging stuff! My headphones, however, started throwing a fit and the microphone did not work. This may have been an unrelated issue (I haven't done extensive troubleshooting.) It is small and compact. I haven't tried plugging more than two things into it, so I do not know how well it would perform under a full load of 4 things plugged in at once.

All my usb hubs have too short of a cable. This one’s perfect length to have plugged into my Mac mini behind my monitor but give me access to usb ports on my desk. The ports are fast and easy to plug and unplug. Definitely the quality I have come to expect with anker products. The price was good too.

The Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub is a clean, no-frills solution for expanding USB connectivity. It delivers on what it promises: fast data transfer, compact build, and reliable performance. Pros: High data transfer speeds – True USB 3.0 performance, up to ~5 Gbps. Copying large files (HD video, image libraries) is much faster than older USB 2.0 hubs. Sleek and sturdy design – The body has a durable shell. The cable is reinforced and handles normal bending well. Portability – Ultra-slim profile, lightweight, with a 2-ft extended cable, giving flexible placement without hogging space. Plug-and-play. No driver hassles. Cons: No charging support – The hub is for data only. It cannot reliably power or charge high-draw devices such as tablets or fast-charging phones. Limited port count – Only four USB ports. For someone with many peripherals (e.g. external HDDs, camera, phones, etc.) this may not be enough. Cable is fixed, moderate length – Though 2 feet is decent, for some setups, it may still be short. Also, the built-in cable cannot be replaced. Verdict: If you want a cost-effective, reliable way to convert one USB port into four high-speed data ports, especially for typical accessories (mouse, keyboard, thumb drives, external SSDs), this hub does the job well. However, if you also need charging, more ports, or longer/more rugged cable, you might need a more capable or powered hub.

Well honestly not much to say, this is my 3rd or 4th one of these and (NO they aren't breaking) you can't beat the prize quality and with having a couple laptops and now a semi-retired rig that is connected to a nice new tv and needing to go "wireless" with my keyboard and mouse since I'll be on the couch this will be the perfect hub to move everything to the front of the PC to get better signal. It's really just a phenomenal product all around I wish maybe it had one USB c port but it works perfect!! I would definitely recommend since I bought three or four myself.

Not a whole lot to say other than this is inexpensive, works perfectly, allows me to have multiple additional items hooked up to a computer without having enough usb ports. This is what I wanted... not a charger... this is if you need more ports to hook up other accessories or hardware to your computer and you are out of usb ports. Appears to work perfectly. Happy with the purchase.

Needed more USB ports to attach devices to my desktop PC. This splitter allows attaching 4 devices using only 1 USB port on the PC. Works great to attach a remote DVD drive, a remote SSD storage drive and a camera used for zoom meetings. Very happy with the performance. I have other Anker products and they are all high quality devices.
