It's amazingly solid, especially given the price. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to swap the heads. There's a Phillips head screw on the bottom of the vice head that releases the threaded bar that closes the vice. You have to unscrew the bar from the opposite jaw and slide it out to have access to the Allen head screw that removes the head. ... show more

The only bad is that the rubber cushions provded with the clamp were not glued or crimped to the clamp jaws.. The rubber pads in the jaws do not stay in place. I had to place painters tape over them so will no get lost when not in use. Unusual to have pads that don't stay in the jaw.
