I got this because my house is ancient and gets power surges more often than it should. A few times already I've heard the click as it takes over and then the beeping notifying I'm running on battery power. Every time I've had no issues and my computer and modem/router have stayed on long enough for me to log off my computer the normal way. I did notice I have to manually reboot the UPS though for it to recognize it's receiving power again from my outlets and that it can stop running on battery power, but I'd rather have to do that than deal with losing anything I was working on because at least now I can prepare before restarting myself instead of it turning off on it's own. ... show more

I purchased these items to provide power to my router and a small projector. The smaller UPS is capable of powering the router for approximately2 hours. The larger UPS however can only power the projector for a meager 29 minutes. Definitely does not serve its purpose.

Just buy the stand alone with all the gauges. The battery pack they send is worthless. No gauges at all on pack.

The BR1500MS2 was purchased to support my home theater system. Upon the third turn on, it shut down, emitted a loud tone and displayed code F01. It required disconnection from the system and a restart to function. On the very next turn on, it did the same thing. I will buy a new battery and reinstall my old CyberPower 1500VA unit which after years of use, never failed. This not a reliable product. ... show more
