I've tried a ton of shower heads with filters over the years and this one is just the best. And for the sale price of $35, what are you even debating? Walk into a hardware store and it's gonna be $60+ for a nice shower head, many without filtration options. Fixing our disgusting polluted water is one of the most important things we can do. Brondell's clean design and serious filtration is legit perfect. Easy install and you don't have to remove the shower head to change the filter. But can we talk about how well made this is. The ball joint makes for easy, EASY adjustments. I was always wrestling with previous shower heads. Couple notes: 1. It does come with plumber's tape, it's just a small spool and easy to miss in the packaging if you aren't careful. 2. Use a lot of tape, wrap it the correct direction and use pliers to get it extra tight. (Shout out to the husband!) With a good install, we've had no leaks, drips or issues. I wasn’t expecting much, but amazed by this shower head. The pressure is great and the water really does “feel” different. You can tell the difference in using body wash/products and skin doesn’t feel as dry. Really amazed. Excellent for anyone who wants to improve shower water quality. Works great, filtered the water perfectly and was easy to install. However, it’s still leaking from the shower head half. Not sure why as the installation was a breeze and a toddler could do this. But for whatever reason still leaks and not sure why

It is so easy to install and the Amazon ad includes an installation video. The water flow is amazing. I feel like I am under a waterfall. The price is right and the fact it includes a water filter cartridge is great. Cleaner, purer, softer water.

The shower head itself is nice. It looks pretty, it's easy to install and the water distribution is much better that a plain regular head. BUT!!!!!! - The filters... After more than a year of use (2 filters replacements already), I never really saw or felt any difference on my hair or skin. I have curly, completely natural hair so I guess I should've felt some difference, given that the water here is hard (DR). I got a water hardness tester for something else, and I decided to test my shower head water to see if the filters actually work. Turns out both the old filter (around 4 months of use) and a brand new one, had the same hardness results (~120ppm exactly what the UNfiltered tap water has). So, I have to say this thing does nothing. Also, after a while, the inner flow restrictor got blocked by the residues and really gave me a hard time because the water flow was so low I could hardly take a shower or wash my hair until I figured out the restrictor was the problem. I just took it out and the water flow was back to normal. So, take that in mind, so you not suffer like I did. ... show more

I'd guess a lot of people are being led into believing they feel their hair differently because of the other reviews. I made sure not to tell my wife and after a week I asked her specifically about it, she noticed nothing even after trying the shower again. I noticed nothing different with my hair either. As a shower head it works fine. Decent quality, nothing too great, nothing too bad. The one complaint my wife and I have is that the outermost holes don't spray straight, they all shoot water in all directions, not a direct line like the rest. So you've got a bit of spray going all around, some in your face when you're out of direct line of the water. It's not enough that I've taken it back off and reinstall our rain shower head. Oh, and it is very low volume with the restrictor in, saves water but I feel I take longer showers. It's easily removed. ... show more

***Update Feb. 20, 2024 Ordered another and works great! Nothing wrong with it and my skin and hair is so soft. Love it! Does not leak either. ***UPDATE: Ordered another one and it works great. No problems at all.*** It filters water great but the end coupler where you adjust it up or down won't stay in place. Keeps falling down. Luckily we had another brondell coupler that did not have that problem and switched it out so when my husband that's 6 ft tall would be able to shower. Now we can adjust it up and down and left and right. Stays in place now where as the new one did not. ... show more
