The item is a great value for the price and works for what I can afford right now. The girls like it and it keeps them contained and happy. It was some what easy to assemble just be careful when using a drill because the wood is soft and can crack if you make the screws to tight. I am happy with the item for the price :) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is the cheapest hutch. The wood is paper thin, the roof is not waterproof, it is made with a cheap green paper. There are holes everywhere in the wood. It arrived broken and we thought we could reinforce it with some scraps we had, but after getting the tray in, we cannot slide it back out making it inoperable! It is not predator proof by any stretch of the imagination. The seller would not see the video I recorded to see it’s not salvageable, they want me to take it apart and re-box it and carry an unusable bulky item to a ups store and ship it back to them, so that they can throw it away! What an inconvenience because I trusted the product description which looked perfect for my new chickens. Do not buy!! ... show more

Even in comparison to other cheap coops, this was very poorly designed. The roof has no latches or anything and is designed to just sit on the top. Did not receive all the screws needed. This enclosure is too small for my breed of rabbit, so I'm using it as a day run for several 4 week old Bantam chicks. It would be nice for a single dwarf rabbit or a pair of guinea pigs. The roof does not secure and it would be easy for a predator to lift it off. A large rabbit could probably push the roof off and escape. The hardware cloth is stapled nicely to the panels however the panels are thin and flimsy and I think a coyote, bear or medium size dog would be able to tear them apart easily. This would be a nice enclosure to allow your Guinea pigs outside for an hour or 2 while you are with them. It would be an ideal setup on a tile or linoleum floor for your Guinea pigs if you didn't mind cleaning up after them since it doesn't have a floor. It did ship and arrive quickly and it's a very nice looking set up it's just not predator proof in any way. ... show more

Directions are totally useless, flimsy once assembled, way smaller than expected, missing screws, roof is fabric over cheap, wood splits easy when screws are tightened and areas arrived already split. I read the reviews and thought okay really how bad can it be for the money, well I got my answer I honestly wouldn’t have taken this for free as it’s total crap. Spend more for something with good reviews what you save now you will spend soon replacing this. ... show more

Other reviews mention the poor instructions. That is very true. The instructions are good for almost nothing, but luckily I'm a visual person. The quality is ok. One piece was a little warped and a couple were chipped, but didn't prevent assembling. Would have liked it to be a little better quality, but for the price I'm not that disappointed. The worst part was at the end when the roof trim and braces split when screwing them together. Easy to replace on my own, but be careful. I would not, and did not use a drill. I also had to add my own screws on the front to keep the others from pulling out. I'd recommend using different screws on the whole thing in hindsight. The rabbits love it though and it's big enough for both of them. If you have some patience and are good at assembling things, it's worth it. ... show more

Extremely hard to put together not all holes are drilled woods so thin it cracks. No way this fiber is waterproof at all. It doesn’t even hold my larger dwarf rabbit. Definitely not worth the money
