  • Bigger, Better, and That Jaguar Design Is Legit
Size: 12 Inch
SOLID – True 12-inch size gives more cooking space than a 10-inch – Heavy, classic cast iron build – Preseasoned and ready to use – Decorative jaguar design on the back looks awesome – Even heat retention like cast iron should – Made in Colombia — nice change from generic imports SUSPECT – Heavy (because cast iron) – Needs proper maintenance – Not dishwasher friendly (obviously) – Takes time to build a truly slick seasoning layer EXPERIENCE This is a solid addition to the cast iron lineup. I already had a 10-inch skillet, but those extra two inches make a bigger difference than you’d think — especially for larger dishes or when you’re trying not to overcrowd food. The jaguar design on the back is genuinely cool. I posted pictures after seasoning it and had a couple people ask what brand it was because they wanted one too. It’s functional cookware, but it’s got personality. Performance-wise, it’s exactly what cast iron should be — steady heat, solid weight, and built to outlive you if you treat it right. For maintenance, mine never sees soap. I steam it clean after cooking, wipe it out, smear on a little bacon grease, heat it until it smokes, final wipe, cool it down, and put it away. That’s it. Cast iron doesn’t need babying — just consistency. VERDICT Solid Buy. Bigger surface area, classic cast iron performance, and a design that actually stands out. PRO TIP Don’t overcrowd the pan — that extra 2 inches helps, but giving food space is what gets you the crust you’re after. ... show more

  • Good looking skillet
Size: 8 Inch
I'm pretty happy with the Victoria 8 inch skillet. The snake design on it adds a unique flair, and makes me want to hang it up to display. My kids want to get the whole set now. The handle design is pretty comfortable and feels much better in the hand than almost any cast iron skillet I've used. I generally use a 12in Lodge, and I was was surprised at how quick this 8in skillet came up to temp. Similar to Lodge, the Victoria looks sand cast and has a bit of a rough looking surface. I was able to fry an egg no problem with the first use, so the factory seasoning is pretty good. Though, I will say the steep walls with the smaller pan size doesn't make it easy to get a spatula under anything being fried. As is typical with pan sizes, the 8in refers to to width at the top. The cooking surface is closer to 6.5in wide. With the tall sides, the capacity should be good for making smaller portions of cornbread or desserts. Clean up and care is like any other cast iron, and requires a bit of effort and consideration put into it. I definitely think this is worth the price, and would choose it over a Lodge just for the handle. ... show more

  • Wonderful Cast Iron with Personality
Size: 12 Inch
I have plenty of cast iron, so I didn’t really NEED another skillet. But this one caught my eye because of the jaguar design. It’s subtle, but it gives the pan a lot of personality compared to the usual pans. Performance-wise, it’s good quality cast iron. This pan's heavy, holds heat well, and came pre-seasoned. I still did my usual high smoke point oil-and-heat routine before cooking with it, because it's become a habit when I order cast iron. I prefer that because it seems to make them slightly more non-stick and prevents rust, but technically this pan's usable straight out of the box. The 12-inch size is perfect for cooking steaks or smash burgers for two without dragging out the griddle. It would also be perfect for a sourdough starter pizza, or to make a skillet meal without crowding. The handle length's good too, and the helper handle is always a blessing because they make it easier to lift a heavy cast iron skillet, especially when it’s super hot and fully loaded. Like all Victoria products, it feels well-made. The casting looks clean, with no weird rough edges or sloppy finishing. For the current price (under $40), I'd say it's a great value. ... show more

  • Raar
Size: 12 Inch
Items like this are what make me love Vine, because while I love Lodge (I have a 6-inch pan), it's the only cast iron brand I was familiar with before Victoria. And not only is this a beautiful cast iron pan, it is also beautifully pre-seasoned. I was dreading seasoning. There are still adhesive remnants visible in the pan despite washing it in warm soapy water as recommended, and which binds the decorative cardboard to the pan, but don't tear it! because there's actually a wealth of wonderful information on the underside. You can almost miss it. It gives such great info about cast iron treatment etc. that I never knew and that I would have loved to keep if it were in the booklet instead. I was this close to buying a 12-inch Lodge before I saw this because I've just started making homemade pan pizza, so this came right on time. It's heavy! ... show more

  • Beautiful cast iron skillet
Size: 10 Inch
I am familiar with Victoria cast iron. I also have an enamel cast iron skillet 10” but I really wanted another 10”. It’s my most used size. It got here fast and I squealed when I opened it. It is beautiful. It had seasoning started so I cleaned it up and made an omelette . It was delish but more importantly, it did t stick. I’ve been using the skillet about 2 weeks and the inside of the skillet has smoothed out with seasoning and is a joy to cook in. I need to get a cast iron lid to fit it. I have a steel scrubber I use to clean the skillet. No soap, just warm water. Dry it good, oil it and hang it up. ... show more

  • Stunning Cast Iron Pan
Size: 10 Inch
I didn’t know a pan could be this stunning. The craftsmanship is truly impressive, with a beautiful parrot imprint on the bottom that makes it stand out from typical cast iron. The handle is a good length. It comes pre-seasoned with non-GMO, kosher flaxseed oil, so it’s ready to use right out of the box. The quality feels exceptional, especially for the price. It’s a gorgeous and affordable addition to any kitchen. ... show more
