Purchased this product and another lower cost model at the same time to compare. The other was a third the price. This product appears well made. What I like about it is the strong grip both to the dashboard as well as the holder for the phone. I have a large iPhone with a heavy duty case and it holds well. The phone can be rotated and titled easily. Actually that is its downside. I tried this model on my truck in a vertical hold position and unless the unit is rotated to the 12 or 6 o’clock positions it does not stay put when you hit road bumps. The phone fails to remain where you set it with the rotational direction. The lessor priced model I also purchased beats it out in that aspect. However, should you mount it horizontally on the dashboard for example, then no worries as that will not be an issue. I will say it sticks very well to the vehicle and I moved it once and won’t move it again. If they made the rotation to have a solid click type system it would have been a 5 star. ... show more

When I first bought this mount, I loved it. Installation was easy, the magnet was incredibly strong, and my phone wasn't going anywhere. Honestly, it held onto my phone with the kind of commitment most people only dream of in a relationship. For about two weeks. Now, I live in Arizona. For those unfamiliar, Arizona isn't a state—it's a giant air fryer with neighborhoods. In the summer, you don't get into your vehicle; you enter a preheated oven. The product description says it's certified for temperatures from -40°F to 194°F. I don't know what lab tested that, but I'd like them to park a black vehicle in a Scottsdale parking lot in the spring/summer and get back to me. Eventually, my original mount surrendered to the heat. Not failed. Surrendered. Waved a tiny white flag and said, "I wasn't built for this madness." Here's where the story gets good. The company saw my review and sent me a replacement completely free of charge. No arguments. No hoops to jump through. No customer service representative asking me if I had tried turning Arizona off and back on again. The replacement has been flawless. It's held up perfectly, and I've had zero issues since. In fact, I was impressed enough that I bought another one for my second vehicle. Great product. Even better customer service. Any company can sell you something. Very versatile phone mount. Excellent quality and very well made. I have used it mostly as a mount for my tablet by placing a snall, light weight metallic (sold here on Amazon) on the back of the case. The mount works on every airline seat back I have tried. It heard tight even in heavy turbulence. My only criticism is sometimes difficult to remove. It just doesn't use suction. There is a adhesive film or material on the suction cup which has to be peeled off even after releasing the suction. This is probably why it works so well so the trade off is worth it. I should say it DOES NOT leave any residue on the surface it's been attached to. ... show more
