I'm very pleased with this dress. The shoulder cut is especially attractive, and a bit different. The knit bodice with the smooth poly skirt is really easy to wear. I have worn it out to dinner, day shopping and will be wearing to a Celebration of Life--great use already. The brown is an especially attractive brown for summer, a rich cocoa brown. The skirt is quite long and because I am petite I have decided to take 3" off the length, but the waist drop hits just fine. It may be too short waisted for taller gals. The poly skirt makes for easy packing for travel and easy wash and drip dry.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this dress! The top ribbed portion is a thick, stretchy cotton that feels structured but comfortable, and the bottom skirt portion is a substantial polyester with great drape and zero wrinkles—definitely not the thin, parachute-like material I’ve seen on similar styles. Fit-wise, I’d say it runs slightly small—I normally size down in dresses like this, but I’m glad I didn’t. It still fit well, just a bit more fitted than expected. I’ve already got my eye on other colors. It’s such an easy, elevated look for summer that feels comfortable and polished at the same time.

Here is your dress, ma'am. This dress exceeds my expectations. I got the black and have been able to wear it year - round in my Midwest climate. The fit is true to size, I am curvy and this has a flattering fit and conceals the tummy nicely and is not overwhelming with too much fabric. The top part is a fitted, ribbed racerback style, not thick or heavy but not too thin, it lies flat and has held its shape. It is perfect under any type of sweater or top layer. It has a modest but flattering round neckline. The skirt part is adorable. It has a soft flare, midi length falling at the most flattering part of the calf and it has nice sized pockets that do not add any bulk to the silhouette. The fabric is some type of cotton blend. I wash on cold, gentle and hang dry. I go over it with a steamer and it looks great every time.

If I would have reviewed this dress a year ago, when I purchased the black version, I'd have said 5 stars. Sizing in the listing was dead on (I'm a 12 in jeans and the L fit perfect, not too tight in the top and the skirt had all the swish I wanted.) The tank portion is soft and cut in a fashionable and flattering way (as the product image shows) that cuts in around the arm holes. Loved it. The skirt portion was a completely different material. Kinda structured, but not stiff. Just a really solid and quality, thick fabric. Pockets were amazing and the overall dress had such versatility. Add a belt, a jacket, etc... a winner. And it's been washed and dried a million times. STILL LOVE. 5 stars. BUT THEN... I bought another a few months later in the burgundy. It was not the same. I returned it. I waited a year, still wearing and loving the original black dress and thought I'd try again with another black and the cyan. Still not the same. Had to write this review cause I'm just really frustrated. The tank seems to have lost the design aesthetic that made it flattering and fun. It's now boxier and more... well, forgettable. Just looks like a plain old black tank with no shape. The skirt's even worse. Gone is the sturdy, not at all see through, flowing fabric. In its place (on all three I bought since the original black one and have since returned) is a dull, almost matte, silk-like, not completely transparent (but definitely not opaque) fabric. So disappointed. Look, we know, for the price, there's going to be some inconsistency in the construction. That's the game we play to get a good value. We might have to return a few and try again. So be it. But I waited a year and it's still not the same dress I bought originally. That's why the three stars. It's not one star... I'd say it's worth trying. You might like the silkier fabric. I didn't. I'm a glutton for punishment and I'm sure I'll try again a year from now because the original is that great. You never know, they might see a drop in sales or an uptick in returns and go back to the way it was. I can hope!

It’s comfortable enough for all-day wear and easy to dress up or down. It’s also great with a layering jacket. This is such a cute and comfortable dress. Very cute on! I got the black, in a small and fits comfortably. The top part is snug to the body, but not tight. I love the pockets and the length. You can dress it up or down. Could also wear a belt with this, to change the look. Can wear it into the Fall, as well. Just another easy dress to wear! I like the two different materials on the dress. It gives it interest and it’s unique in style. It looks very becoming on, with the top part more snug and the bottom more flowy. It’s not overly big on the bottom, which is a plus! Can’t go wrong! It’s one of those dresses that you need for something, that doesn’t need to be overly dressed up, but very put together! I Love it! 🩷
