I waited until I had a chance to test it out a few times before writing this review. If you're looking at hitch rack prices and feeling like it's outrageous how costly Thule and the other brands are, then stop looking. This bike rack is fantastic for the price. It feels very solid, is relatively easily to use (I don't have any comparison to judge by, but it's straightforward enough for me), and it holds at least 120lbs worth of bike. My e-bike is a 700 series from Ride1Up, and my wife's is a Level2 from Aventon. The rack holds them both easily. There are locks on the hitch tightener/wobble reducer, on the frame clamps, and on the cable lock. Same key for all. The wobbler reducer works extremely well and overall the bikes feel very well supported. It has a tilt mechanism to fold it closer to the tailgate/hatch when not in use, and you can drop it down to open the gate if you need to. It's easy to pinch yourself on the tilt mechanism lock so be careful, but it's worth the risk because it's spring loaded and very secure. I'm very, very happy with such a high quality product in this day and age, and at an amazing price.

I bought a nice car hitch for my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Amazon and this bike hitch/rack attaches with a breeze. The rack is very sturdy. I like the adjustable straps that hold the bikes to the frame of the rack. Build quality is definitely there, very sturdy. We haul two adult size e-bikes and they fit great. I recommend watching the video that another reviewer provided. You're going to want to place one bike facing one way, and the other the opposite way. Also, if one bike is taller than the other, put the smaller bike on FIRST and then secure the frame holder onto it, then load the second bike and do the same. I like that the rack has locking features so no one can walk off with your bicycle. Storage capacity as indicated in the listing is for two bikes. Also, the lever that angles and lowers the rack with bikes attached to it so you can get into the hatch or trunk of your vehicle is an awesome design! Love this rack!

Great rack for my bike and must say, this baby is "sturdy". It assembled easy. I used my own socket wrench instead of the enclosed wrench but that wrench would work ok. Good video and tips showing how to assemble and tips regarding the assembly and using the hooks. The vertical upright was scratched up due to its rubbing against the other support brackets in the box, so I'll need to use some flat black touch up paint to fix that in order to prevent it from rusting long term. The hitch pin I have with a lock is 5/8 diameter and goes through my receiver. Bad news is the hole in the rack is "half inch" so I might need to purchase a 1/2" locking hitch pin instead. Something the manufacturer should consider because most 2 inch receivers have a 5/8" hole in the receiver, not 1/2". Not a show stopper either way. After a lot research and talking with various people at the bike park on how they liked or disliked their current rack set up, I decided to make this purchase. So far, it does NOT wobble, it is very sturdy on the back of my SUV and looks good too. It is a bit heavy, but I knew that when I purchased it because it fits... and is made for a 2 inch receiver. Not the cheapest rack, but overall I think I got a good deal at the right price point albeit the scratched up paint on the vertical bar.. I do like the many locking features too, and I think those locks will work ok while also using the cable lock that came with the rack.

I wanted to write this before I forget. I'll post pictures later and review it once I've driven with it. I assembled it while attached to the tow hitch as recommended. The packaging is solid. The video that's been posted by the manufacturer is well made and helpful. The assembly is straight forward and when putting the parts together you get the idea this is well designed and constructed. The ratchet wheel ties are also well made - they hold the bike tight as they should. What I like is the different sizes for the tires to fit into - I have a road bike as well as a E-Bike that need to be carried. The anti-wobble mechanism is also solid. The assembled hitch to remove is probably 25 or 30 lbs (not heavy at all as someone posted). The tilt down platform with the foot release works well and is a solid mechanical device that locks into a slot and will not release until you step onto it. The one key locks the cable as well as all the other locks (I think I saw 3 in total in the turning handles). Each type of handle is clearly labeled where the lock is. Overall I'm very impressed with the product and would recommend this to anyone.

Packaging was impressive! HD boxes and inside styrofoam made sure all items were not damaged in shipment. The instructions were clear and straightforward. Went together easy. I put mine together inside my condo and not at the rear of my vehicle as suggested in instructions, as my car is in a garage area and it would be somewhat dangerous to be putting anything together while cars were passing by! In any event, it went together just as easily without having the car's receiver to hold the main frame. The quality of the build showed off when I tested the rack. No, as in zero, rattles were heard or felt in my car. Everything was tight without being too tight. The foot pedal to fold the rack up, midway or down worked perfectly. Mounting my e-bike was better than I expected. I have a Bee Cool Explorer - a great bike but H-E-A-V-Y! I just mounted the front tire first and then ate some Popeye spinach ;-) to lift the back onto the rack. I kept the vertical mount down until the wheels were in the cradles, and then I lifted the vertical up and installed the hook (once done I then remembered to install the pin to secure the vertical. I took my initial ride with the bike on for about 50 miles round trip, and I couldn't even tell there was a rack or bike on the back (and I drive an extremely quiet electric vehicle, so any noises, bumps, grinds, etc. would have been noticed by me!) I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it for anyone needing a rack that will accommodate heavier e-bikes.

First of all, this is the most well packaged large item I have ever received. Some serious engineering went into the packing design. We are replacing a Saris two bike rack that we grew frustrated with because it shimmied and wobbled. Found this one, and I admit I was skeptical it would be any good at such a low price point. I was wrong. We love it. We have Specialized Vado e-bikes, one traditional, one step through. The pros: - packaging mentioned above - deep tire trays and long wheel straps would easily accommodate fat tires - incredibly solid construction - innovative stabilizer keeps the tongue tight in the hitch receiver - common key for the hitch lock, clamp locks and auxiliary bike lock - large knobs make adjustments (wheel trays, clamps) very easy - hinge assembly to fold up the rack or tip the bikes for rear gate access is well thought out - zero sway, even over speed bumps etc. Rock solid Minor cons: - I wish the included auxiliary lock was incorporated into the rack instead of an accessory - the stabilizer insert in the tongue was not completely inserted into the tongue tube on delivery, so the hole for the hitch pin wasn't aligned. A couple of good whacks with a hammer fixed that, but it should have been caught by the manufacturer

Update 9/25/25: Have not used this rack for most of 2025 as the knob for the hitch stabilizer is not working correctly. Also one of the knobs for the bike stabilizers is also starting to go. I contacted the manufacturer and they claim they are willing to replace the parts but say they are not in stock. This was months ago. I would say I got a year of use out of this. I use this bike rack to transport 2 large 29" mountain bikes, my normal travel distance is 10-50 miles. Set-up was a breeze; it expands and locks into your hitch making it super secure and basically wobble free. Putting the bikes on is easy after you've done it a few times. Comes with an added strap which gives you extra piece of mind (though probably not needed) and a nice lock which is especially helpful when grabbing food on the way home. I've seen and used a few other much more expensive racks in the past and this is as good or better in some cases. Don't hesitate.
