Easy to install and works as advertised. Supports both wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Supports display of fuel efficiency and real time hybrid system animation similar to that of the OEM radio. Sound quality is great and works well with the JBL amplifier. Using the radio's DSP EQ settings is optional. Works well with the factory backup camera with the dynamic guidelines, rear parking assist sensor alerts, and rear cross traffic alert. The best part is the quick response from the seller and their support team. First off, you will receive an email from the seller with the installation guide specific to your vehicle. I just ran into an issue with a bug that came up after doing an over the air software update. They just asked for details and photos of the screens showing the issue. I was looking to replace the head unit (radio) in my 2017 Toyota Highlander. I found this unit so that I could get Apple CarPlay. The unit arrived on time with instructions for installation. Once installed, the unit works great! The screen is much larger and easier to read plus Apple CarPlay works now! When I had issues, the seller support was great - very quick to respond. Here are some tip to help with anyone's installation: - Get a trim removal kit with a plastic pry tool to help remove the trim around the radio without breaking or scratching - Remove the yellow clips on the bottom tabs from the factory radio and attach to the new unit, this will help keep the radio in place (no screws needed) - The instructions are a little confusing and some connections are left out - in my case the 8-pin canbus - Don't forget to update the MCU firmware - The instructions to plug the AM/FM antenna in to the new unit was also missing in my case if you plan to use the Android radio - I also purchased an SMA Male Car GPS Navigation Antenna Adapter for Toyotas so that I could use the built-in GPS antenna in the Android applications (Google maps, etc.) - There are many settings for the car in the new unit that you can adjust - you can even see the tire pressure! - If you use the factory backup camera, it is low resolution, so the picture is a little grainy, especially in low light - but acceptable (new project?) I was really hoping this would be a good purchase but unfortunately it is not and I'll have to return it. First off, there are no instruction at all including in the packaging. And the instructions I found online provided by the manufacturer were unclear and not helpful at all. Have not been able to find any trouble shooting sections or pages online for this stereo. Yes, in theory it should be "plug and play", but no so. After plugging all the cables and turned the unit on, at first it looks and seems great. But, radio will not work even after setting the region to USA. The built in car Mic does not work even with the unit cable plugged in to the mic port, reverse cam quality is poor compared to the quality we had with the original unit from Toyota. The UI is dated and the touch screen is laggy at best. Considering this is almost a $500 purchase after taxes, I was expecting a much better quality. Back to square one, searching for a better option to replace my Toyota factory unit. I'm sure other people may have had a better experience than I did but I would not recommend buying this stereo head. UPDATE: I managed to get the radio working as well as the built in mic. The reverse video quality is still bad despite the fact I'm using the original built it camera which was very clear on the factory head. The OS is still not the best considering the cost of this head. I've had to change the setting multiple times and they keep reseting after I've turn the car off. The touch screen response is still laggy at best. IMHO, this is a $250 item and not $500. It's a shame cause I love the size of the screen and looks so much better than the Toyota factory head. ... show more

Great head unit. It has wireless Apple CarPlay and wired android auto. It’s plug and play so installation was a piece of cake. It took me probably 10min to install. There’s a lot of great videos on YouTube on how to remove the original head unit so that helped a lot. I had some small issues with the buttons on the steering wheel working backwards to change songs of radio stations, Apple CarPlay sound being way lower than regular radio or Bluetooth music and mic quality sound was terrible. After getting in touch with seller he resolved all of the issues one by one and was extremely nice. They guided me step by step on how to solve everything and it wasn’t hard at all. So if you purchase this radio and have any issues don’t hesitate to contact the seller. They’ll help you with any problems ... show more

The directions are a bit confusing but after some trial and error I was able to get it all working including the backup camera which was a challenge because the cable was missing from the original shipment.
