2hours trying to get it to stop dripping due to the quartz tube a fraction to long broke the first tube after I bearly tightened it trying to stop the water drips. How much Teflon tape and pipe compound we supposed to use to seal it It’s installed now not pulling down and still dripping

Time will tell but so far all is good. Broke one of the quartz sleeves immediately because he uv light fell out of my hand when putting it in. Put together on a table first before installing so you don't have the same issue fumbling around putting the sleeve in while it's in a vertical position. Would love to rate 5 stars but unsure how to get a new quartz sleeve. Inlets to the metal canister are 3/4 inch so I just to use a 1 in to 3/4" npt female which I found on Amazon. I did not notice a loss in water pressure. ... show more

37" quartz tube at least 1/4" is too long for this unit. Top and bottom gland fittings cannot be fully tightened without breaking tube. Need two new quartz tubes. Instruction sheet with poorly translated text is uninformative. Update 5/24/23: the seller quickly and satisfactorily resolved this problem. Thank you! ... show more
