It's not as strong as the manufacturer claims. I used it to lift up my full size sedan twice. The first time I used it it was ok, however, the second time the jack actually was bend. My car fell to the ground, luckily it fell away form me and I was not injured. It's quality is also not up to par, the paint on it cracked on multiple places with its first use. I wouldn't be recommending this product to lift you car, if safety matters for you.

This is only an initial review but so far I am not seeing any problems at all with this jack. I purchased this for a BMW X1 that did not come with a spare tire from the factory that we are retrofitting a spare tire into. It will absolutely lift each corner of my 3600 lbs X1 with no issues (almost 2T). True, this is below the 2.5 ton advertised capacity but I'm just throwing this out there as a data point for others who want to know. Word of caution: this is a generic jack and OEMs sometimes require specially sized/shaped pads to use the OEM jack points, such as my BMW. On my BMW I don't use the OEM jack points and choose other metal parts of the frame to jack from. I suggest you test it out and get an idea of how you'll jack up your vehicle before just throwing this into your trunk. The ratchet wrench and the lug wrench are nice value-adds for this kit - saves you some money having to buy them separately.

Scissors part look robust enough, lifted up my 21’ camper, but the ratcheting wrench feels really flimsy and I anticipate will likely break after a handful of uses. You will need to have your own tool to crank it at some point.
