This is only an initial review but so far I am not seeing any problems at all with this jack. I purchased this for a BMW X1 that did not come with a spare tire from the factory that we are retrofitting a spare tire into. It will absolutely lift each corner of my 3600 lbs X1 with no issues (almost 2T). True, this is below the 2.5 ton advertised capacity but I'm just throwing this out there as a data point for others who want to know. Word of caution: this is a generic jack and OEMs sometimes require specially sized/shaped pads to use the OEM jack points, such as my BMW. On my BMW I don't use the OEM jack points and choose other metal parts of the frame to jack from. I suggest you test it out and get an idea of how you'll jack up your vehicle before just throwing this into your trunk. The ratchet wrench and the lug wrench are nice value-adds for this kit - saves you some money having to buy them separately.

Wrench to move jack up and down isn’t the most solid and the jack itself cross threaded and wouldn’t come down. Thankfully had a hydraulic jack at home to get it out from under my car, but it just stopped working.

Good jack for the price to keep in truck incase of road side repairs. Needed something that could like my boat trailer incase of needing to remove a tire. The ratchet to raise and lower is a nicer feature instead of those old car jacks that use all the rods you gotta spin hundreds of times just to barely raise it.

More than just a quality manufactured automobile jack at a great price. It comes with a $28 telescopic lugnut wrench fitting 4- different lugnut sizes. Also included is a ratcheting jack wrench for raising and lowering the jack with great ease, and finally it came with its own zippered storage pouch with room for the jack,lugnut wrench, and jack wrench.
