  • Works as expected
Style: 3000W-new
Installed in my RV that was inverter ready. Simple process and worked right away. I wish there was a wall holder for the remote. It could easily get lost and the extendable antenna is really 80's. Come on guys. Get an RF remote.

  • Displayed Wattage is power pulled from battery, not wattage delivered to AC device.
Style: 2500W
In getting this inverter and doing a few simple tests I noticed the wattage on the display was greater than the wattage of the device I was powering. I hooked a Kill-o-Watt meter up to test it and noticed around a 20% discrepancy. For example, a standard 20 inch box fan on high pulled 121 watts on the kill-o-watt, but the inverter showed 151 watts. Plugging in a few different devices and doing the math, I believe this inverter runs at around 75 to 80% of efficiency. This means that all stated wattages on the display are showing the wattage pulled from the battery, and includes heat losses during the inverter process. One should buy an inverter bigger than you need, so that you can power all of your devices. I understand it is a good practice to buy an inverter with twice the capacity that you need, so the inverter is not running at maximum. All electronic devices have mandatory labeling next to the cord, so one can easily see how much power they pull. For example, one TV pulls 50 watts, while a wifi cable modem (10 watts), fan (120 watts), coffee maker (1025 watts) or window air conditioner (1250 Watts) pull different amounts. I purchased this inverter to serve as an emergency back power source, a cheaper alternative to an Ecoflow Power Station, those devices normally display the AC power out instead of the DC power in on the wattage display. I am happy for the display and data, but just want everyone to understand how this functionality works. ... show more

  • Pure power
Style: 2500W
I love this inverter, it’s well worth the extra money to get the pure sign wave unit. I have loaded this up and it handles everything perfectly. Plug a window a/c unit in. No more hum like the modified sign wave.

  • Extreme Safety Hazard
Style: 3500W
Inverter started to make popping noises and then started smoking, this was a few months outside of warranty so I opened up the inverter to find 2 of the bridges? (not sure what they are called) were touching and had caused a short. whatever these are called were placed very close together and are flexible meaning they move easily when rocked, bumped or touched. There are more of these in the inverter however they have plenty of space between them, these 2 were placed way too close during manufacturing. Contacted the seller and have had zero response from them and this almost burned my house down. ... show more

  • Low output voltage, 108-113VAC
Style: 2000W
The inverter works, it fires up and provides power to the outlets. However the output voltage is only 108-113VAC, and the display reads 1-2V higher than my TRMS multimeter. You can see the voltage at 112V with no load, and 113V with a 450W load. Since it is advertised as 120VAC output, I would expect the inverter to actually output that voltage...but alas it is somewhat low. This really isn't too much a problem because most everything will run fine between 105V to 130V, just was hoping for better regulation. I have only run up to 1000W on it, and it works fine so far...hopefully it lasts. ... show more
