I live in a residential neighborhood that chickens are allowed to be kept as long as you don't have a Roo. So I bought this set up for my four hens. The wire, even for chicken wire standard is on the cheap side and I’ll probably end up replacing it or adding some more sturdy chicken wire to the whole thing just for extra safety. I don’t really have many predators to keep out except the occasional garden/ black snake due to where we live but I added some hardware cloth to the ground and zip tied it to the bottom before laying some mulch just for a little extra protection. The latch on the door is very basic and I’d like to add something a little more difficult for my kids to open. But my only other complaint would be the size of the gap at the door. It’s a little too big for my comfort and I’m trying to figure out how to fix that one. For the moment I have a strip of chicken wire at the bottom of the door that I just step over to get in. Overall do I think it was worth the money?? I got it on sale for $200 so yes the frame went together extremely easy and the size works extremely well for my tiny backyard flock but I wouldn’t keep more than 6 birds in this. So yes it was worth the money for me but if you live out in the country and not a heavy populated neighborhood where you have real predators like foxes to deal with just keep in mind you’re going to spend another penny reinforcing this thing to make it predator proof. The wire that comes with is to keep your chickens in, not keep unwanted visitors out. ... show more

The wire they supply is ridiculous. You can break it apart with your hands. The frame is just ok. The long side without the door however has no cross bar support. It really needs it. We were given two extra bars identified as part “O” but no part “O” is noted in directions. So we have two extra bars and no idea what to do with them. We can make this work because we’re only using for rabbits. But I think we will just replace the wire with something better. And use your own zip ties. The ones they send are too weak. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We had chickens a couple of years ago when the pandemic started. It's something my wife thought would be fun. So four of those clucking animals graced our property and supplied eggs for about 5 months. Then they provided food for us in other ways. Fast forward two years and my wife again wanted some chickens, but she wanted to have a movable run so they weren't always pecking away at one spot of the property turning it into a smelly dustbowl. So she got this cage allowing them to jailhouse rock. For the price, it's pretty nice. It's large enough for four chickens to comfortably spend their day as if they're at a Sandals resort sucking up rays or chilling in the shade, if they so wish. It's large enough to walk into with ease to place their water and feed. My wife has already moved it around the yard to about four different spots without issue. The chickens don't seem to care. They just see there's fresh grass to claw, peck and cluck at for the day. (Or even try to escape as you can see in the video.) While the assembly was pretty easy with each part labeled to avoid confusion, the one gripe is that there was a missing pole in the initial shipment, so we had to get a replacement. We love the chicken run area it was a great space we do have 11 chickens inside of it with their and they have plenty of space to move around and be there the way they want to be we will be adding a second one to it so that we can expand as our chickens get a little bigger the downside the only thing I didn't like about it was that the fencing around it the green netting is very very thin and not as sturdy as I had hoped and I wish it had more support across the roof because when it rains the tarp that covers it does tend to droop and build up water so those are my two changes I would make other than that I completely recommend it is a great for an awesome price ... show more

This was easy to assemble the frame. The wire over and around was easy also, but wiring the seams has taken several days to do. The wire is really thin and came broken in several places. It seems to keep the chickens in okay and the other critters out so far. The cover over the top doesn't quite run to the beams so you have to use two ties together to make it work. For the price you can't complain. I was disappointed because I was supposed to get a flat roof ( I'm tall & wanted the head space to move around) and they sent an A shape. Too much a hassle to box it back up and send it back for another. ... show more

Arrived and i am putting it together now.. Its perfect size for what I'm going for. But one thing that is making the set up a little difficult, is the top bar that connects the door frame, wouldn't go in all the way. Through further investigation, found that the weld job on the inside of the post was bulging up, preventing an easy slide in and connect. It will not fit together which has the whole set up of the door frame unusable until I can get that metal filed down enough to properly secure the pole. So far that is my only complaint. It does seem to be an easy set up. Quite large for my 2 ducks. And it will be easy to do add ons if necessary. ... show more

Bought this as a temporary run for my hens. I have 3 and it is the perfect size. I wouldn’t use it for more than 4/5 chickens. Anyway, the frame was a snap to put up. Took maybe 20/25 minutes. The chicken wire it comes with would be useless against most predators. Included in the box is a pack of 500 zip ties, also of very poor quality. We bought higher quality netting and zip ties and it’s looking great. A little pricey for just a frame, but honestly even the more expensive setups we researched came with the same netting and zip ties 🤷♀️ ... show more

Easy to install but you have to cut the wire to fit the coop. Wire is very thin and flimsy most of mine was already cut/broken. One of the bottom poles already broke. The tarp for the top isn’t big enough to cover it. Don’t recommend at all unless you’re going to replace everything it comes with.
