  • Well worth the purchase! Well worth the purchase!
Size: 236.2"L x 118.1"W x 66.7"H
This chicken run was a pleasant surprise. We purchased the 20x10. Everything was included and fairly easy to assemble. The zip ties were a little tedious because it takes a lot to secure the chicken wire together and to the poles. We used extra to prevent predators from getting in around the bottom and on the top where you have to connect the two pieces of chicken wire between the poles. The gap is around 6 ft between the roof supports so the wire must be around 3ft wide. It's been 24 hours and the chickens are all safe inside and have plenty of space to get around. We did cut a hole on the end to make a doorway to access from our coop. We thought we were getting 14 chickens but ended up with 16. We agreed that buying another Vevor metal coop in the future to connect to this run would be better for the chickens. It only took a few hours to assemble, even with all those zip ties. Overall we were satisfied with the product and would buy again. ... show more

  • Large, heavy duty chicken run
Size: 118.1"L x 78.7"W x 78.7"H
This is a very good product. The metal bars are fence grade quality and weight and the netting is okay. It was used tl introduce new chicjens to an existing flock. Once that was done, we refurbished it and it now works great as an add-on to extend an existing run, giving the chickens extra room to run in when they need space from each other. We have had it a while and don't see any rust. It was fairly easy to put together but you do need to wire the netting together. I wired it after I put it on the frame. It is heavy to move. I just put a tarp under the one side (so it slid better) and lifted up the other side to cart different places. It was missing one bolt but it was such a common sized bolt, rather than wait, I just got a bolt from the supply store so I can't tell you how quickly they would take care of that. The door goes together well but if the frame is not true, the door does not close well. It is easy to fix though. ... show more

  • feels sturdy and durable
Size: 118.0"L x 78.0"W x 78.0"H
I recently acquired the VEVOR Large Metal Chicken Coop with Run, and I've been thoroughly impressed with its design, durability, and practicality. As someone who takes the well-being of my feathered friends seriously, I was on the hunt for a coop that would not only accommodate my chickens but also provide a safe and comfortable environment. Here's what I found: Assembly: The assembly of the coop, while not a breeze, was manageable for two people. The instructions were fairly clear, and all the necessary hardware was included. It took a few hours to put everything together, but the end result was worth the effort. Design: The VEVOR Large Metal Chicken Coop features a well-thought-out design with a peaked roof. This design not only adds a touch of charm to the coop but also ensures good water runoff. The metal construction feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence in its long-term reliability. Space: This coop offers plenty of room for my chickens to move around comfortably. The integrated run allows them to access the outdoors while staying safe from predators. The spacious interior is well-ventilated, which is crucial for the well-being of the birds. Weather Protection: One of the standout features is the waterproof cover. This cover provides protection from rain and harsh sunlight, ensuring that my chickens have a comfortable living space year-round. It also helps keep the coop clean, which is a huge time-saver for me. Accessibility: The coop features multiple doors, making it easy to access for cleaning and feeding. The large main door is especially convenient for daily maintenance. Durability: The metal construction appears durable and capable of withstanding the elements. So far, it has held up well to both sun and rain, which is reassuring for a long-term investment. Security: The coop has a lockable door and secure latches, providing peace of mind against potential predators. The wire mesh is sturdy and helps keep your chickens safe. Value for Money: Considering the size, design, and durability, this coop offers good value for the price. It's a solid investment for anyone who wants a spacious and secure shelter for their poultry. Conclusion: The VEVOR Large Metal Chicken Coop with Run is an excellent choice for anyone looking to provide a safe and comfortable living space for their chickens, ducks, or rabbits. Its sturdy construction, ample space, and thoughtful design make it a practical and aesthetically pleasing addition to any backyard. While assembly may require a bit of effort, the end result is a reliable coop that will keep your feathered friends happy and secure. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this coop to fellow poultry enthusiasts. ... show more

  • Rusted QUICKLY! Galvanized Pipes are Junk! Rusted QUICKLY! Galvanized Pipes are Junk!
Size: 118.6"L x 154.7"W x 78.4"H
I bought 2 of these and put them end-to-end. I did reach out to the company asking them to send me 3 of the specialized pipe connectors so I could attach the two coops together, but they refused. I never asked them to do it at their own expense and offered to pay for the parts multiple times, but they always refused. I managed to rig up the coops so they are sort of connected, but having the connectors would be the ideal solution to prevent predators. I've only had the coops less than 6 months and as you can see, there is A LOT of rust on the pipes, so I'm expecting these coops to not last very long. You can extend the life of the top pipe if you get an aftermarket tarp that will cover the top pipe, but your bottom pipe will still be exposed so I'm not sure if that will make any difference when it comes to longevity. Although not pictured, the bottom pipe is also extremely rusty on mine. Maybe painting the pipe with some type of protective coating would help. I would have done this had I known it was going to rust so quickly. They do make a primer that is for use with galvanized pipe, so be sure to get some of that if you intend on getting this coop. As I have eluded to, we did buy a more heavy duty tarp to cover both coops since the included tarps were not very thick and quite thin, and the closest size I could get that fit was 12'x25', and while that covers most of the length of the two coops put together, it would be better if it was 12'x30' as it doesn't quite fit the length as you can see in the pictures. If I could do it over I would buy a longer tarp and just fold the excess back under and zip tie what's loose. I'm 6'1" tall and the coop is simply too short for me. I can sort of stand up in the middle, but I have to hunch over if I need to go to the sides of the coop. If I were to do it over again, I'd purchase a coop that has a half-dome top which has increased height on the sides of the coop. The coop came with everything you need and is so easy to put together and it all lines up and is stable, provided your ground surface is flat, though I did have to buy additional zip ties to secure the chicken wire against mongoose which are very small. I also purchased ground screw anchors to put into the ground to keep the wind from turning my coop into a kite. The anchors work great but I should have put them on the inside of the coop and here's why... We use mulch for their bedding and it is getting quite high and that it is raising the inside floor of the entire coop and pushing out on the chicken wire. We have compensated by putting 2x6's ground contact boards all around the outside of the coop against the chicken wire and that has provided a nice wall to keep the chicken wire from bulging out (you can see the bulging out in the pictures and we added the boards after we took the pictures). The boards have also added a layer of protection from predators going under the chicken wire. These boards also make it easy to weed wack against the coop and not rip the chicken wire. This works great so long as your anchors are not in the way. We put in a solar door and that was pretty simple to do, and we'll be adding in a rain-harvesting water catchment for the chicken water shortly. You could harvest water off of the tarp or you could harvest water from a nearby metal roof which is what we will do. Once this coop reaches the end of it's life we will upgrade to a dome-style coop and try to source a higher quality galvanized steel. We have local hardware stores that sell patio structures with much better steel and with tarps, and I think getting one of those could work fine provided you can fabricate some type of door, and they also have the option to make them taller so you could go with the same style coop if you like this design. Bottom line, I DO NOT recommend this coop. For all the work you put in to build and configure this coop, and then tearing it down once it rusts out, your money is better spent on getting a better quality product that will list 3-4 times as long. The cost is cheap, and now you can see why. ... show more

  • A starter coop but will need upgrades
Size: 78.7"L x 78.7"W x 78.7"H
I got this. I think it is a good starter cage. However, you need help putting it up. It is extremely difficult to put up by yourself. Also, if the wiring only comes in a roll, it is not pre-cut so you kinda have to figure it out yourself. The door when you put it up is incredibly wobbly the cage isn’t stable enough to really support the way of the door so it does close but not great. I would not count this as something to leave an animal in overnight if you wanted like a little outside area that’s fine but it’s really not durable enough for any kind of protection from something getting in or out. you are going to need a screwdriver, a drill and wire cutters that it does not come with ( this is fine most things don’t come with those just be mindful before setting it up because I had pulled all my pieces out and then realized I needed to go buy a drill too) ... show more

  • Not expensive, but definitely not cheap for the quality
Size: 78.7"L x 39.4"W x 39.4"H
The fencing is flimsy, some connections got loose and came out, there are connections that cannot be tighten up (the nuts are behind a plastic and secured in place with a weak plastic and a small screw). The pictures provided by the seller here are deceiving, more like a photoshopped version. I used zip ties to secure corner connections (and maybe welding later). Overall, its not pricey, so cannot expect much, but I should mention that it is not cheap at all for the quality, maybe I should say it is really expensive for the quality. ... show more

Size: 117.6"L x 79.2"W x 79.2"H
I LOVE this chicken coop. So in the included pics it is the one on the left side close to the fence. This coop held up against our Jan winter storm. We ended up with roughly 7 inches. The roof took it like a champ. Its easy to assemble. My husband & I built it in one day. I LOVE how they give you a little extra fencing too. Incredibly helpful! Plently of zip ties. It's really stable and has held up against some 30 mph winds fine. It is roomy enough for 15 chickens. Light weight so easy to move around if needed. The door latch is my favorite. Some of my past coop in the style we have always had issues with the door. Not this one.!!! Highly recommend. ... show more
