I've been using this for over 4 years now and this has to be the best thing I've even done for my dog! He's an 80# lab about to be 10 years old and he's not slowing down! He has 0 hip issues and plays fetch all day every day. I started this when he was 6 in hopes I could delay arthritis or hip issues that larger dogs are prone to. I didn't want him to have to be on prescriptions like pain meds so I started him on this early and it's totally worked! He is so so active and I really believe it's attributed to the glycoflex 3! He's a lab so he eats anything but he has no problem with the large chewable tablets. He doesn't even chew it, just gobbles it up. The maintenance dose at 80 lbs is 1 tablet a day so this is such a budget friendly option. I even prefer the ingredients in the glycoflex over cosequin and this is a better deal. I'm always researching what supplements I can give my dog to prolong his health and this ticked all the boxes. After 4 years of ordering this I've never gotten an expired or nasty batch. It's always been really a consistent quality product. I've found this glycoflex3 tab, along with the Ready Pet Go brand turmeric and collagen chew, plus Pet Honesty brand Omega 3 fish oil is the perfect trio for joint health. I started the turmeric chews and fish oil 2 years ago and they've been great affordable additions to the glycoflex 3. I'll keep my dog on these as long as he keeps tolerating them! Annie is a 14 y.o. Maltypoo. She is a rescue from being a former breeder. We feed her a homemade diet of chicken/turkey/liver/sweet potato/carrot and a few other things (mostly cooked, but some raw) as we have it available. She stays on the second floor and negotiates a long stairwell several times per day (pay no attention to the Halloween trimming). After about 3 weeks on this supplement both as treat nibbles and mixed into food, we noticed she wasn't waiting to be carried down every time. In fact she began to climb back up as well after about 7 weeks. Six months in and I think we have maximum progress with about 80% or more of her trips under her own power; occasional carries only in one direction or the other. Not bad for a small dog where the distance between steps if half her body length. Nothing else has been changed in her diet or treatment. No comparison to any other supplementy as this is the only one we've used. We are pleased with the changes we've noticed. ... show more

This product helped my 12 yr old dog tremendously. Before she started this treatment, she had stopped running more than a few steps, jumping in & out of the car, & playing with her toys. Within 3 weeks of starting the chewables, she was running & playing again. We haven't allowed her to jump in & out of the car simply because we don't want to aggravate her hips.
