Another thing I like is that hair doesn't get stuck in the rug. My older rug after 3 years of use had so much hair stuck on it and it was impossible to remove it using a powerful vacuum. We purchased this in the 8 x 10 size for the living room in our cottage on the Allegheny River. I was looking for something neutral but with a rustic feel and this is perfect with our decor! Although it's washable, I'm sure it'll be too large for my washing machine but a laundromat would be an option. It is much softer than expected and appears to be much better quality with a short soft carpet pile vs those other stiff "loop" woven ones. Also, you don't need a carpet pad - it has a rubber non slip backing

This rug is very soft and definitely slip-resistant. Really happy with it. My only complaint is that the color was different than in the listing, it is much more pink-toned!! The design is also printed on and not actually textured, which for the price makes sense. Overall good rug but be aware of the colors!

It’s a very pretty rug. It’s extremely soft, much softer and much thinner than I had anticipated. But I cannot for the life of me keep it from bunching up. We have three kids and this is in our living area with the couch. It will not stay flat even with a rug gripper underneath. :(

After buying $60-$70 cheap rugs that had to be replaced every year or two, I decided to try a washable rug. I was so impressed by how soft it is! It has been used in my classroom for about 5 months now. My second graders love it and it has held up well so far. The edges are starting to curl up, but I'm hoping a wash and adding carpet tape will help. It does fairly well with not sliding around on our waxed, tile floors. Just as a teacher FYI, carpet spots will NOT work on this rug. It has more of a blanket texture and is too smooth for the carpet spots to attach to. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase! I will update in May if anything changes!

The color and design are perfect. The rug is very very soft! It's a little hard to vacuum. It says it machine washable. I did wash it and it was very hard to wash in the machine. My machine is an extra large and it still struggled with it. I wouldn't recommend it. The rug is VERY thin, so I bought a pad to put under it. That made a huge difference. Overall I love it and it was easy to place in the room. Would highly recommend!
