So it doesn’t come with instructions and it a papers it’s unlocked - I used a mint SIM card and works fine - I bought it to use in a boat for a ring camera we will see if it works and if constant. It charged in like 20 minutes and I left on and unplugged for 2 hours and only went down 15 percent so based on that I figure a 8 hour use . Battery did get a little warm charging but was cool for the two hours. Not plugged in . So far so good will have to update after a day or two in the boat with a ring camera ... show more

    • Doesn’t work
I live in a rural area where a hotspot is the only option for Internet besides satellite. I’d been checking out mobile hotspots from the local library for free but figured I’d get one of these jetpacks just in case they are all checked out. I received the jetpack and everything looked good but I didn’t have a Verizon SIM to test it with. A couple months go by before the hotspots at the library are all checked out and I finally need to order a SIM. I put it in the device and try to connect my laptop to WiFi…”No Internet Access”. I tried everything: regular shut down and power back up, factory reset, software update. Still no Internet access even though it shows on the screen that it has bars and Wifi is on. Product support told me to reach out to the seller who could refund or replace the product for me but I haven’t gotten any response back from them in over a week. So at this point I’m past the return window, out $50+, and have a jetpack that doesn’t work. Thought I could trust “Amazon renewed” but apparently they don’t test these jetpacks as well as they claim to. ... show more

Our original MiFi had fallen face first on the hard airport floor and cracked. As the months moved forward, the touch screen got increasingly worst. By the time I decided getting a replacement, the screen became unreadable and unusable. Trying to get the screen replaced would have cost more than the $30 I paid to replace the whole MiFi! It works well and after playing with for only a couple of hours, I'll update this post next week. ... show more

I have used this Jetpack for a few weeks after adding it to my account and receiving a Sim card from Verizon. The price was right. It is working well as an internet connection, and the battery is holding up ok. The problem is that the touch screen is very balky -- it usually takes multiple attempts to get it to respond.
