This lamp is the greatest. I run outside in a rural area and sometimes I’m on a highway or busy street. This lamp is brighter than car headlights and they WILL see you. It makes running through the winter a lot easier. Make sure to wipe off the charging contacts completely and don’t leave it charging for days on end or they will corrode. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I go on record saying that i own many Fenix, Coast, and other headlamps. I use them all the time every day for work and for my hobbies. I am not sure how to feel about the presentation, all of the accessory parts are made from cheap plastic. In my humble opinion some of the tech features on this thing are overkill and not even needed. The headlamp itself is thought out and well built but it could have been executed better. For the price tag I expected more. After using it for a few days I will say that it has a lot of power and light output capability. I am not a fan of operation - the buttons on the headlamp are hard to feel and not tactile so I often find myself having to take it off to mess with it to get it to shut off. Kind of a pain honestly. If you were in a situation where you needed this thing to shut off or your killed / in trouble - your gonna die or get caught because it is very difficult to turn off. Also, the front led lights do not swivel down very far so I find myself having to tilt my head down further to get the light output on my target - also a very annoying issue. The battery indicator will read healthy charge until it is almost dead and then you will see the lights drop - i don't feel it is a very accurate reading on the battery life. I feel like this item is very close to contending at the top of the headlamp niche but unfortunately i personally would not recommend it. ... show more

    • The absolute worst light I have ever owned.

The absolute worst light I have ever owned. I have now gone thru 4 of these with the same battery issue. Charge it to full put it on and then turn it on and after not even a minute the light flashes and turns off. Lather rinse repeat to the point it becomes irritating. Especially if you are trying to work! I have reached out to the manufacturer and have left umpteen VM's and have yet to hear back from them. When you call no one answers the phone and you get VM asking you to leave your name & number which translates to; We will never call you back so F U is basically what they are telling those who do try to call them. WORST COMPANY! DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT! Unless of course you enjoy lighting your money on fire? ... show more

This is not for daily use at home. This is a specialist headlamp for in specific scenarios in security, rescue, manufacturing etc. Extremely powerful but can get a bit warm.
