  • Great, reliable internet -- as long as you can see the sky
The StarLink does exactly what I expected. I do live streaming from (sometimes) remote areas, and cellular coverage alone doesn't always work out. Note that the WiFi signal from the StarLink Mini itself isn't all that powerful. I have a GL.iNet cellular router that I've been using for about a year, but it's now got an ethernet cable running from the SL into the WAN port. Speedify on the router itself lets me bond the StarLink WAN connection and cellular to create as reliable a connection as you could realistically expect for a small, mobile operation. The seller (Basic Option Store) was great, and communicated ahead of time ensuring I was aware of potential fees StarLink might charge upon activation. Those fees have NOT been assessed, but they wanted to give me a chance to opt out before potentially being shocked by an unexpected cost. Shipping was very fast, and the unit arrived in three days rather than the five they estimated. This was great, as it allowed me to unexpectedly use the StarLink for an event I had scheduled on day five. ... show more

  • This is 10 out of 10 for sure.
If you have a poor signal or poor coverage, then it's worth buying a Starlink. Keep in mind that to boost the signal, it's recommended to have an additional router that you can plug into the WLAN port. This way, you can extend the Wi-Fi range if you're going to be a bit far from the dish. It was a great pleasure that the seller communicated with me before shipping, warning me of a possible additional charge if used outside the United States. So far, while I've used it, I haven't had any problems or any additional charges. The charge refers to use outside the United States, so I understand that you won't have any problems within the US. Make sure you know this before purchasing. It's nice to be able to enjoy good internet at all times. ... show more

  • Detailed or precise setup process or procedure
Don’t buy. It takes forever to get a refund. I returned it because there was insufficient information on the setup for the USA. I went to Best Buy and got it set up in one hour. The returned mini has a huge label stating there may be a setup fee of $300!

  • Great Customer Service
This company is a joy to do business with. They are responsive and helpful. Speed: Starlink is so fast and we use them both here and in Mexico.

  • Great travel companion
The Mini Starlink is a great travel companion when we were traveling off grid for wi-fi and phone calls. We got great reception after a few tweaks in each direction. Small and doesn't take up much room in the RV when not in use.

  • Works excellently well
As a techie, I couldn't pass up trying this. It arrived very quickly and in its sealed packaging, with no issues or problems. Installation is extremely simple; just follow the instructions. It's important to read all the information. The seller is very communicative. 10/10

  • Beware used item!
The media could not be loaded. I received a previously used item, and I feel it’s necessary to warn others.
