Nothing worse than a company that greenwasher their products. I bought this because it claims to be organic but only one portion of the materials are organic. The inside and backing are made of 100% polyurethane which is extremely toxic and off gasses so you continue to breath in the toxic materials. I am changing my review to one star. I wish zero stars was an option. I bought two of these to decrease laundry transitioning my toddler into a big bed, based on the good reviews. We’d been using them both since Easter. Last week, one had completely stopped working (it allowed urine to leak on to the bed) so I started the return process before the deadline. I had kept the one that was still protecting our mattress at that point. Well, of course, now one day after the return deadline, the 2nd one that we did not return stopped working. Both of these have allowed urine on a brand new mattress several times now. I Followed all care instructions. My mattress seems far from brand new now. I am extremely disappointed in the poor quality and extremely disappointed that it is too late to return the second one. ... show more

I bought this for my newly potty trained 3 year old’s bed. He obviously still has accidents and I wanted something good to protect his brand new bed. Well as you can see, it did get stained and was able to protect the mattress beautifully. The only problem is I noticed my son waking every morning dripping in sweat and I couldn’t figure out what the heck was going on. Well I fell asleep on his bed and realized the protector held onto your body heat so bad. There’s like a fuzzy soft material layer atop the waterproof layer and the heat just clings to it. Which could be nice in winter/cooler climates. However I live in a hot, humid part of the US and it wasn’t working for us. I would give 0 stars if I could because my daughter wet the bed and it leaked right through to my $1200 Awara mattress which is now permanently soiled. Perspiration has also leaked through in the past, leaving circular stains on my mattress! My wife has a medical condition that sometimes she has profuse night sweats. She can soak through a sheet. This protector was purchased to put on a new mattress. So far it has been working as it should. I have been washing it weekly with some light liquid detergent. Fits well on our king size bed.

I wish I bought this sooner!!! From my daughter spilling a drink/accidents/puking you name it. It obviously would leak through my sheet and onto the mattress. Which led me to scrubbing the next day to try and get the stain out. This handy protector absorbs it so when something happens in the middle of the night, I toss the sheet and protector in the washer and put a back up on, next day good as new. And it doesn’t leak through to my Mattress! I just wish I bought it sooner to have a nice looking mattress! ... show more
