You can unlock it using a key, app, PIN, fingerprint, or the included RFID tag, and it even integrates smoothly with Google Home. Setup through the app was incredibly simple and stress-free. I own more than 50 smart and connected devices (including Google Wi-Fi, Kasa lights, LG washer, and more), and this lock easily ranks as one of the best digital devices I’ve ever used. Easy to install thanks to great instruction video. took me maybe 45 min (first time doing a door handle for me). The fingerprint feature is super convenient and works perfectly - my wife and I trained multiple fingers on both hands in case our hands were full with something. I wanted to put a smart lock on my master bedroom door. My son has a lot of friends over and I’d like to keep my stuff private. Especially cause sometimes I have to run errands while they’re at the house. I started looking through all the options and based on price and reviews, this looks like a good option. It has a thumbprint reader it has NFC it connects by an app and it has a manual key override pretty much everything I wanted. I had it for over a month now, but I’ve had to change of batteries twice and really thought the lock had something wrong with it to be eating through batteries like that may be a firmware issue with software issue or just simply a hardware issue.. when I reached out to the company not only did they quickly respond but overwhelmingly happy to do anything to make me a happy customer, including refund or replacement. I haven’t had this good of an experience from any company in years. I would easily buy another product for them and plan to do so in the future. The battery cover is difficult to open. Alexa integration is excellent. The included luggage tag cards, PINs and fingerprint scanner all work very well. The KK Home app is one of the best apps I've used on Android. It works well, feels solid, I'd buy again. I found the manual really didn't help enable Alexa integration but the secret is in the first KK Home screen's "My", "Works With". Google Assistant is in there too. The little tool for tightening the set screws on the handles was folded into the packaging and although bent somewhat it worked perfectly. I didn't find it until breaking down the box and stressed out a little thinking I had to reinstall the old lock. ... show more

I bought it the first time and when I was almost done installing and putting the first battery in, there was a big electrical spark; noisy and it flashed. I was so worried that this would start a fire at my door that I uninstalled and asked for an exchange. No issues with that; I got the second one and I start the installation. This time the screw to lock the handle in place is defective and would not lock the handle; I could not install this at all. I am returning it and I am done with this product for sure.
