Veise Smart Locks with 2 Lever Handle Set, App Control, Keyless Entry Door Lock, Electronic Digital Touchscreen Keypad, Deadbolt Smart Lock for Front Door, Auto Lock, Easy Installation, Matte Black I previously had a keyless lock that kept malfunctioning. I came across this lock and it looked like it would fit my door. I have a window that’s pretty close to the lock hole, so I had to make sure it wasn’t too wide. It barely fit, but it worked. I did have some difficulty installing the lock. It comes with a paper that has a QR code that directs you to an installation video. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t notice it right away and tried to go off the paper instructions. One thing I discovered is that if you need to adjust the length of the bolt, you need to make sure that the bolt is extended before you adjust it. I’ve installed a lot of locks in my time, and I’ve never seen this feature before, so I didn’t do it. If you don’t do it, you will have a hard time adjusting the lock and it will be too short once you install it. There is also a setting for a left and right swing door with this lock. I know I have a left swing door, but again, the written instructions weren’t very clear. After watching the video, I got it set right and got everything installed properly. The lock is very robust and locks and unlocks without having to pull the door tight (a problem I had with my previous lock). The included door handle is also very strong. You can unlock the door with an included key fob, a regular door key, the door code or your phone. If you want to be able to lock/unlock the door or check the status of it while you are away from home, you will need to purchase a gateway to connect to your Wi-Fi.
