This is a pretty nice thing ot have if you are trying to install a new door handle and deadbolt. You do not NEED to install the door handle but it just nice for me to have the same look. In terms of installation, it is pretty straight forward on setting this up. The only thing you may need to do is drill a hole for the bottom of the door handle if you do not have one. It already fit my original door lock so honestly I did not need to do much. This can be connected to the wifi so you can open and close the door via the application. It also comes with two keyfobs you can use just by holding it up to the lock. You also setup the password. It does take battery in order to use this and it will notify you when the battery is low when I stuck in an old battery. There is a key as well you can use in case of emergencies. There is no fingerprint reader. The app works pretty well for the most part. It was not too hard to do the full setup on there. The pin pad is really nice and is just a simple touch. It does not leave any finger prints behind so it will not give password hints but you can wipe it down as needed. It will auto lock if you set it up that way. You also do not need to type the password to lock it. Just press the lock button. I will say that . There is no sensor to keep the bolt in so you will damage your door frame and possible the bolt if you slam the door closed on it. This device It is water resistant so if your door gets hit by a bit of rain it will be okay. I did not see any issues with rust or water damages. The handle works great for most door colors. It runs on batteries which are NOT included and can be replace easily on the inside. It provides all the screws needed for the installation. Overall I think this product is great if you want a smart lock for your front door with a handle included. Depending on your door setup you may need to drill holes but it is a pretty straight forward setup. The design is modern and it is sturdy so you do not have to worry about it breaking. You have a keypad control over your door and there is that there is a physical key slot that you can use to open the door which I find to be awesome. I like the keyfob so you can just tap and it will unlock. I am not sure if you are able to add more if you purchase more but I mostly just use the application at this point. ... show more

Installation is straightforward and easy to do. You’ll need a screwdriver and maybe a scraper to clean the old paint mask on the door if this handset is different from the one you currently have. For me, this was a direct replacement for the old manual lockset, and it fit perfectly without the need for drilling or reworking the mounting holes. As far as operation, the lock moves smoothly without hesitation or binding. One of my “issues” with all electronic lock sets is battery replacement. I don’t know the condition of the battery until it’s dead, and then I’ve got to use a set of keys to operate the lock. This lockset has a visible battery indication that lights up when the battery needs changing. Battery changeout is easy and simple. I really like the key fob. Swipe it, and the deadbolt opens. It’s great for family members (youngsters) who may not remember the code, but as long as they have the fob with them, they’re good to go! The physical touch-keys that operate the deadbolt feel solid and well made – should last a long time. I have no plans to use the app or any of the features it provides. I simply wanted a push-button dead-bolt to replace my old key-operated unit that came with the house. Finally, this lock-set is very substantial. It looks and feels expensive and high-tech. The color is jet black and should accent almost any color door. It makes a real statement to anyone approaching the door. It was the perfect choice for me. ... show more

Got this to replace a much older lock I had on me main door. I already had a similar style lock so I didn't have to drill any holes or anything. Everything for perfectly (except that this is a bit smaller than my old so there's some older paint showing on my door). The install was quick and easy. Instructions are laid out well. There are two sets of regular keys and two key fobs. The app is easy to setup and you can unlock/lock from there as well. The keypad is actually not visible until you touch it, which I think is a nice touch. Entering the number on the keypad is easy and the touch is sensitive so you won't miss pressing it. When unlocking it with the key fob, it's very quick, as well as with the keypad. Sometimes it takes a second for the app to recognize, but that may be phone dependent. This works really well and I'd highly recommend it. ... show more

This is an extremely well made and beautiful lock set that is sturdy, easy to use and functional. The app works fine and reprogramming codes is simple through the app. The included cards are a nice touch, but I am not sure that I would have a need for them. The finish of this lock set is very impressive, ever more so than some other name brand locks I've installed in the past. Installation is very easy and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
