I'm an avid walker on and off road. I'm walking 2 to 3 miles daily and typically walking 10 to 15 miles at least 1 day on weekends. I got new Asics running shoes and as with most shoes the insoles are cheap foam that breaks down quickly and offers no arch support. I've bought several insole brands over the years with mixed quality. Now I needed a change. The Sole's are true to size, no cutting! Btw, when shopping for insoles, avoid insoles requiring cut to fit. They are garbage. For these I found the arch support is quite stiff and Immediately I noticed the correction in alignment (as I wanted). These are the best insoles I've ever owned- this is my 4th or 5th pair now, and I have them in multiple pairs of my heavy-use footwear. Not sure what the company's recommended lifespan is for these but the last pair I bought stayed in my work boots for over 5 years. Had to buy a new pair of boots, so bought a new pair of these to go in them. But the old ones are still good and will probably go in my outdoor housework boots- no need to get rid of them. Top quality and amazing fit once you go through the heating/molding process. I first tried these insoles when Dean Karnazes had his own signature insoles from Sole. I figured if he used them, then they have to be pretty damn good. Well, he was right. I've been using these for over 10 years now. I think Dean's line has been discontinued as I can't find them anymore. These are very similar to Deans model. I have a high arch and these eliminate all pain associated with plantar fascitis. These fit super easy into my Brooks GTS shoes with no need to cut to shape. Just heat them up in oven for a couple minutes and then wear shoes for a couple minutes so they mold to your foot. These have lasted me at least 3 years, the only part that wears out are the front toe area. Very solid Insole and very pleased with the quality. If I had to say a complaint, I'd say they are a little pricey, but qualty usually is. ... show more

Late last year, I started walking around the neighborhood each night, trying to stay a little more active now that I've lost a lot of weight. Unfortunately, while wearing my (only pair of) shoes, I noticed that the arch in my left foot would hurt painfully if I tried to really walk briskly. My shoes were offering zero arch support and on investigation I realized I had worn almost completely through the insoles. Since the exterior of my shoes were in great condition, I decided to get these based on the reviews here and elsewhere. Right off the bad, they were extremely painful to wear. Whether that was due to years of my feet/legs being in a weird position due to the old flat insoles, or something else, I don't know. But after two weeks (the recommended break-in time) plus a trip through the oven, I was seriously considering giving up on them. I'm glad I didn't, though. After just a few more weeks of light use, I did finally get accustomed to them and now my feet and muscles don't hurt at all when doing my walking or going to the store. The difference between my old insoles and these is night and day. These offer good cushioning for the heel and more arch support than I've ever had. (Sadly, my left foot's arch still hurts if I try to walk too briskly, but this insole has reduced the recurrence of the pain a little bit.) Just walking around the grocery store or a park, they are quite comfortable. Although these seem to be geared towards the athletic end of the human scale, I think they'd be fine for people work work standing up all day, too. If there's anything to complain about — besides the long break-in period, that is — it's that the procedure to form them to your feet by heating them in the oven doesn't seem to really do anything. I followed the directions, but the little dot never changed color. After the time limit, I wore them as instructed but never did notice any real change in fit or comfort. If there's a change to be had by doing this, it seems to be very minor. Overall, I'm happy with them, and I hope that they last a while considering how much more expensive they were than off-the-shelf insoles you find at your local big box retailer. ... show more

I was having an exacerbation of metatarsal pain at the ball of my forefoot. I tried silicone inserts for shoes but they moved too much. These have metatarsal support, as well as arch support. I have had great comfort wearing these while running. These have been firm but flexible. I didn’t heat it because they felt fine out of the box. They have given me a better quality of life after I have been using them for a week. I couldn’t get comfortable before trying these. They stay in the shoe without shifting while running or walking. These are great! Shoe salesman recommended and I can purchase shoes I like that do not have great arch support and just add these. Remove the insole that comes in the shoe and replace with these. If your feet roll in these will correct that problem and save your knees!

As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I've worn very expensive foot orthotics that were inferior to these. These are the best bang for the buck, especially if you have high arches or plantar fasciitis.

This shoe insert is firm and just what my weak arches needed. I got size 10 for my 9.5 shoes which are snug in my shoes but they don’t slide at all. I do remove the thin sole that came in the shoes when new. This is a good product and delivery was swift but the price is too much for my budget, I think I’ll shop around before I pay this much again !!!!! ... show more
