The multi functional lock works amazingly well for each of my family members to utilize. We had our handyman on standby assuming there would be installation challenges; however, we were totally wrong! Packaged well with easy installation instructions; took less than 30 minutes. What a great lock and super convenient. It’s one of the few that allows fingerprints, keys and codes. Not only does it allow a code, but, I believe it allows up to 20 different codes. It’s super useful and I have been able to give access to several people to come in my house when I am not there.

Ok, I’m not an expert clearly. I thought it would fit where my other door lock was, electronic, like this one.. well, let’s just say I had to take out the chisel and make the hold in the door bigger. Chisel slipped, took a chunk from my leg..blood, wood chips, you get the idea. Oh and I need to repaint my door.. not the locks fault. The instructions are pretty good. When I finally got it installed it does function properly. So far. We have very cold winters in NDakota, so it will be interesting to see how it holds up. I do like that you don’t have to take the whole thing apart to change the batteries. Very nice feature! 5 starts for that part. I wasn’t impressed with the inside part of the lock. It’s a very lightweight plastic and feels cheap. Looks just ok. But, I got it on sale so the price was right and it does work as expected so far. Programming was pretty easy. Just a lot yourself with enough time to install this. Use the guide it comes with for placement on your door to see if you have to use a chisel.. :/ ... show more

I was able to install this in under and hour. The instructions were very easy to follow and the unit is heavy duty. I was able to recode the door with the cheat sheet and it has worked with the fingerprints as well. We got the black and it was a nice matte color that was easy to match to a knob as well. ... show more

After looking at different front door locks for years. I liked this one immediately after reading how it works. It's simple, has NO internet to connect. I watched the YouTube videos in how to install it, over and over, and I read the installation instructions also, then simply installed the lock in a short time. It worked the first time and has kept working since, though it's been a little over 24 hrs. only. Changing the Mastercode was easy after watching the videos. 😎 I have installed two finger prints into the memory and they work fast and easy. I have the lock automatically lock the door after 20 seconds and that is also nice and simply works. I would recommend this lock to anyone who wants a front door lock that has multiple ways of opening their front door, and easy ways to have the door lock. With this lock I no longer have to give out keys to anyone. They can use a code to unlock the door or a fingerprint. Both can be removed if you no longer want anyone to have access to your house or apartment. 😎 ... show more

Needed a replacement for a mis-behaving Schlage unit. I was surprised but leery to find a similar product to the one I was replacing but at less than half the price I was expecting to pay. The product arrived in 3 days, well packaged and complete with very easy to understand instructions. Also, this unit had a fingerprint operation option which is very nice (and easy to program). I was worried about the finish, but the oil rubbed bronze is beautiful. After removing the old unit, this product went in with only one wire connection which fit far better than the Schlage. This product also had additional features like auto lock that were not available on the base Schlage and Kwik-Set units. As my other locks die of old age, I will be back for additional Veise ones. ... show more

It’s my fault for not reading the description well enough. I was looking at multiple different types and must have assumed this one also included app control, because it’s 2024. If this came with app access, it would be a five star product. Because it doesn’t, you have to do all programming on the actual keypad through a series of different button/codes. It’s time consuming and annoying and worst of all if you want to delete someone’s fingerprint access you have to rescan their fingerprint in order to remove it. So imagine you no longer want someone to have access to your home and you have to ask them to come back so you can scan their fingerprint again to take their access away. Very poorly designed. Unfortunately I’ll probably be buying a different one that includes keypad management through an app (which also alerts you any time someone enters/leaves your house and if you have a lock jam or door left ajar, another shortcoming of this one). A good product but could be so much better. ... show more
