This VASAGLE dining chair makes a very good first impression in person. The caramel brown upholstery and walnut-toned legs work well together, and the overall shape has a clean mid-century look that fits nicely without drawing too much attention to itself. It looks more expensive than I expected for a single chair in this category. Comfort is solid. The seat cushion is wide and fairly thick, so it feels supportive rather than hard, even when sitting for a while. The curved backrest has a nice shape to it and gives decent support for a dining chair. The fabric has a woven linen-like texture that feels comfortable and does not have that cold, slick feel some upholstered chairs do. Assembly was straightforward. In my case it took about 20 minutes. Once assembled, the chair felt sturdy overall, and the wood finish looked good with no obvious flaws. I also like the built-in handle at the top of the backrest. It is a small detail, but it does make the chair easier to move around without grabbing the fabric. A few measurements from my assembled chair: I got about 31.5 inches at the top of the backrest, about 19.7 inches from floor to seat, and the seat itself is roughly 17.7 x 19.7 inches. Those numbers lined up well enough with the listing and helped explain why the chair feels roomy for one person. My one issue is stability on tile with grout lines. On a very flat surface the chair is fine, but after moving it around I sometimes had to readjust the little feet at the bottom to get all four legs sitting evenly again. That may be more about my flooring than the chair itself, but it is worth noting if you have uneven hard floors. Overall, this is a comfortable and attractive dining chair with good proportions, a nice fabric texture, and a finish that looks better than budget furniture usually does.

I got this VASAGLE wooden mid-century modern chair in the caramel brown. It's a visually appealing and nicely styled chair. I really like that. It's real wood and I think that the cushion color I picked blends very nicely with the wood. I'm not using it as a dining chair, instead I'm using it as a chair for visitors in my office. I found it to be easy to put together, it took me about 15 minutes once I got my brain in go mode. The instructions don't really have words but the diagrams are easy to figure out and each piece is individually labeled. You also get an extra of each of the hardware pieces in case you lose it (e.g. screws, nuts). The chair feels sturdy once assembled. It does have a tiny wobble while on a tile floor, maybe a little millimeter or two discrepancy. Once you sit you don't notice it. The reason that I would give this four stars instead of five is that it's really not the most comfortable chair. It's got the padded cushions which is great, but you really end up having the sensation that you were sitting ON a chair as opposed to IN a chair. It's not the most secure of a sit. I'm full-figured and I noticed this but I also had other co-workers sit in it and they all kind of look like they are perching on the chair. So for my needs of quick visits it works. But I would not want to select it for a dining chair, personally.

This chair turned out to be a great purchase. I know it’s marketed as a dining chair, but I actually bought it for my wife to use at her bathroom vanity, and it works perfectly for that purpose. The size is just right—compact enough to fit nicely without feeling cramped, but still substantial and supportive. The design is really attractive, with a clean mid-century modern look that adds a nice touch to the space. The caramel brown upholstery looks great in person and feels high quality. The curved backrest makes it surprisingly comfortable, even for longer use, and the built-in handle is a nice, practical detail for moving it around. It also feels very sturdy and well built, with solid wood legs that give it a stable, durable feel. Overall, it exceeded expectations and works beautifully outside of its intended dining room use.

I admittedly was a little skeptical when I ordered this chair, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. First, it was super easy to assemble- I did it with my 15 year old daughter. Neither of us are particularly handy, but the instructions were extremely clear and all of the parts were clearly labeled. The pictures were pretty helpful too. The tool needed to assemble was also included. This took about 20 minutes total for us to assemble. The chair itself is sturdy and looks great. It says that it’s a dining chair, but I purchased it for my son’s desk and it fits just fine. The chair is well made and looks expensive. I am pleased with the chair and I am glad we ordered it.

"X." VASAGLE's Wooden, Upholstered Kitchen Chair with Solid Wood Legs is a typical warehouse home furnishing store item. That is, it's reasonably well-made but requires assembly. Fortunately, the legs came pre-assembled, and the entire chair consists of four pieces, including a metal cross brace for the leg pieces - not counting the bolts and washers. The instructions are clear and well-labeled, with proper orientation clearly highlighted. However, The thing that confused me was that everything was marked "x2." I guess there is a two-chair option, and the manufacturers didn't bother printing an additional, nearly identical instruction booklet. Assembling the chair takes about fifteen minutes if you read the instructions beforehand. If you didn't, it will take half an hour and you will disassemble and reassemble the pieces correctly. The chair came together easily otherwise, and feels comfortable for a home furnishing store chair. My back and backside didn't feel any bumps or lumps from the assembled product. If I had to nitpick, the leg caps are made of soft plastic, and the bolts labeled as M6 in the instructions are actually M5 size.
