We pulled a large maple against it's lean to fell it. It wasn't a serious lean and a more experienced forester probably would have laughed at us but we had a permanent tree stand in the likely path of the tree falling. We anchored this pulley to a nearby tree down low and put a strap on the maple up as high as we could reach with a ladder. We then placed the puller on another tree closer to the maple that we were cutting. We created a big triangle. This pulley worked flawlessly. It's perfect for the 1/2" diameter rope we were using. It's a very STOUT pulley.

Wow, is this thing a powerhouse! I've used it to pull down trees & clear property with my winch, I broke a 30k lb capacity snatch strap while this pulley block is completely unscathed. It just keeps working flawlessly. I am very impressed! This was money well spent.

I used this block to pull over some trees that had died and were leaning over my yard. I hooked one end of my 3/4" rope to the tree and ran the other end of my rope thru the block and over to my tractor which was out of the way. After a little cutting, I pulled them over easily, exactly where I wanted them. Great block!

I love how easy this single pulley/snatch block is to use even with gloves on. Very well built rolls well even in freezing conditions / wet conditions . Has a very nice durable finish large circlip and greaseable bearing with fitting . would recommend for professional or private use
