Putting these bar stools together was not as easy as I expected, mainly because the instructions are very visual and some steps require careful alignment before tightening everything. Once assembled, though, the final product looks great and feels sturdy. The light-textured fabric has a clean, modern look, and the warm wood-tone legs give the stool a stylish mid-century feel. I also like the curved backrest, which makes the stool look more refined than a basic counter chair. The metal footrest is a useful detail that feels solid once attached properly. In my photos you can see the assembly booklet, the hardware layout, the footrest connection, the fabric texture, and the finished stool from several angles. Overall, I would recommend it for the final appearance and comfort, but I would set aside extra time and patience for assembly. ... show more

Nice stools! Pros: Nicely packaged. Value for $ Quality of product. Whilst putting it together, I noticed the parts all looked very well made of good quality materials. Ease of assembly. The instructions were easy to follow and it took about 10 minutes to put together. Style. They look great! Comfortable. Cons: Large logo on the seat. Two separate bolts broke inside . The directions were missing a whole page on putting it together and all the numbers on the package of hardwear were not numbered correctly. Also if you follow the directions you will use what they tell you and it will go right through the wood . Either guess the whole time you’re doing it or just don’t buy these . ... show more

I wanted new kitchen island stools with seat bottoms that swivel. Through my own fault, I ordered and received ones that didn't swivel. I sent them back to Amazon and bought the ones I wanted. I was promised the stools would arrive between July 2nd and July 8th. They came on July 1st! (imagine emoji of a face with jaw dropping in surprise). The stools came very well packed, 2 to a box, and even though the outside of the boxes looked like they were dropped off a roof, the items inside were fine. They were SO easy to assemble; the only tool I ended up needing was my trusty Black & Decker battery-powered screwdriver with a bit that looks like a star. You can use a level to make sure everything is okay on that front, but I didn't use one. There are no words on the instruction booklet, just numbers and letters, but it was well-illustrated and I had no problem figuring out how to assemble the stool. I am a slow, methodical, mistake-prone furniture constructor. The first stool I made took me 45 or more minutes to assemble. That included me having to take it apart to put it together correctly. The next stool took me 20 minutes and the 3rd only took me about 10 minutes. When I got the boxes, there was a small piece of what looked like a red ribbon sticking out. When I opened the box, the ribbon was attached to the bag of hardware (see photo). Each item of hardware was individually packaged in its own "bubble". There were only about a dozen screws, so there was no chance of grabbing the wrong-sized screw. There was even a bubble that contained one extra of each item. Nice touch. The hardware legs were individually packaged in tight foam, so there was nothing in the box that was able to rub against another piece. The metal feels strong and is powder-coated to resist dings. The seat is soft without making you feel "wobbly" when you sit on it. Even though we've had them for barely a day, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product and this company (whatever it's called). ... show more

They look okay but very much a pain to put together. Instructions are vague, and the holes didn’t line up very well for the seat assembly. Had to reassemble multiple times
