I was a little worried by some of the reviews, but I'm thrilled that I went ahead with the purchase. This flooring is beautiful, goes together smooth and easy, fits together tightly so it lays smooth, and it's got plenty of cushion for those long standing spells at Vendor shows. That being said, because of that soft, cushiony feel... large objects do leave some indentions in it, but that is to be expected. It's thick enough for comfort, but not so thick that you worry about tripping over the edges. The pattern is very pretty and it wasn’t too white. I bought it to go with the beach cabana theme in my daughter’s room and it contrasted well with the bright and sunny vibe. The smell of the new product wasn’t too strong, noticeable but not unpleasant. I took off a star because I could not get the pattern to match on the edges no matter how I tried to arrange the squares and it was distracting. It was also easy for the edges to become separated and I didn’t want to use adhesive on the edges if I could not make the pattern cohesive. The squares didn’t slide too much on the hardwood floor other than the gaps between the squares was super noticeable. The amount of cushion was nice and it is very quiet to walk on. I absolutely love this floor! I was having trouble choosing a flooring material for my enclosed front porch. It is unheated and can go from the 90s in the summer to single digits in the winter (gotta love that MA weather). A lot of flooring can warp and have issues with such temperature fluctuations so I was hesitant to spend a lot of money. This was by far the cheapest option I could find and I am so happy with it! It's soft and cushy on my feet, was super easy to install (it cuts very easily with a utility knife), and it looks beautiful - I ordered the weathered fence grey. As much as I love it and would definitely order it again, I will point out some observations if they come in handy for other customers: it does expand and contract in different temperatures but it doesn't damage or lessen the quality of the product. If it was in a more temperature-controlled space I'm sure this wouldn't happen. When my front porch is especially sunny and warm, the floor will bow because of expansion, but I just open the windows to let out some of that heat and the floor goes back down. My front porch is in direct sunlight, and there have been times when areas of the mats will blister. If I had to choose one thing about this floor that I didn't like, this would be it. But it's not the floor's fault - I don't think it's made to be in direct sunlight. So every so often I've replaced the blistered tiles with extras I had leftover, which is very easy to do. If you put furniture on this floor, it will leave marks/indents - but I keep the furniture in the same places anyway so it's not noticeable. All in all I would absolutely order this again and it's doing a great job! ... show more

    • Super Easy to Assemble & Clean!

I recently converted a portion of my basement into a gym. It had concrete floors so I needed something that would provide a bit of cushioning. I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money so I was happy when I came across these! I read the reviews and saw that most people liked the product so I decided to give them a try. I ordered them in “slate” and they look pretty much exactly as they did in the ad. They were very easy to put together. It’s like a puzzle, you just have to connect the edges together. There were a few parts where I had to trim to fit (mostly against the walls) but that wasn’t a major issue at all. In total, it probably took me just a little over 30 minutes to complete. It provides just the right amount of cushioning. It does indent a bit where I put my gym supplies but thats to be expected of foam. I can always replace it once it wears out. With that said it seems to hold up well against other things. I have a 70-pound dog who always accompanies me while I work out and there’s hardly any damage to the flooring even after a few weeks. There are imperfections but you can’t even seem them unless you go on your knees and take a close look. Cleaning is easy too - I just run my microfiber mop over the floor every week or so to take care of the dog hair and any dirt. So yeah, overall they were a great purchase. Not only do they provide cushioning but they look amazing…at least a lot better than the concrete I had originally. The gray color that I choose is very nice and modern too, reminds me of modern hardwood floors. I read that some people have issues with the foam bubbling under direct sunlight but thats not going to be a problem for me since I have it in the basement. ... show more

We used the first set we bought of these through about 16 or 17 outdoor craft shows and were pretty happy with them. They held up through heat, cold, rain, sticky spills and even being packed up wet and dried out days later when we got home. So when they finally started to show some signs of wear and discoloration we decided to replace them with the same product. The quality between the first set and the second was DRASTICALLY different. These cupped badly, causing the places where they joined together to be major trip hazards. The first time they needed to be cleaned (using nothing but water and a sponge) several of them discolored to the point where the colors are visibly mismatched. We have only used them twice and they are now entirely unusable. Very disappointing. I realize they are not advertised as being for outdoor use, but several of us craft vendors have been happy with them and other brands like them, and found them to be worth the expense. Sadly, that is not the case now. I don’t know if they have changed suppliers or the manufacturing process. I just know that I cannot recommend them to other vendors anymore. ... show more
