The Vasagle office chair requires assembly but was easy to put together (Photo 1). The instructions were clear, and everything was correctly labeled. They even include all the necessary tools needed for assembly. Once assembled, the chair is very comfortable and looks great (Photo 2). I love the Chrome frame and strip on the back of the chair (Photo 3). In terms of comfort, the seat has great padding and a mesh backrest which my wife loves as it eliminates the heat and uncomfortableness of sitting 8 hours a day for work. The armrests can flip up 90 degrees to allow more width within the seat and/or to push under your desk. The armrests were a little stiff to lift up and down at the start, but they’ve loosened up since we been using it. The headrest is also adjustable, the height can move up and down and the headrest itself can be tilted too (Photo 4). For its thin frame, it’s capable of supporting up to 330lbs which is impressive. Cons – While the fabric is comfortable, it does attract pet hair. However, it does clean up easily with a vacuum or lint brush. Another complaint is the lack of adjustments available on the armrest besides flipping it up and down.

I usually just get the left over chairs for my home office. When someone in my household gets a new office chair, I take the old one. This has not been beneficial for my lower back as I am usually sitting in a broke down chair with little to no back support. I would spend most of my day scooting back and forth trying to get comfortable and at the end of the day, my lower back is usually screaming in protest. I ordered this chair in an attempt to alleviate this general and specific discomfort. The chair arrived disassembled in a big box. The directions were attached to the seat portion. I believe there were 12 screws overall to attach everything. It all went together pretty easily with everything lining up exactly like it should. Thoughts on the finished product. The fabric is nice, soft with a little pattern that will be familiar to anyone who has worked in an office. The plastic is thick and seems quality. The headrest is not as adjustable as some chairs I have used, but it sits in the right place and supports my head when I use it. I lean forward most of the time, but the lumbar support extends and sits perfectly in my lower back, making it painless to sit in this chair. I actually love the lumbar support. The armrests are nice, but I doubt I will raise them much. They do swing up out of the way, but I leave them down. The chair feels stable regardless of sitting position. The seat is soft and supportive. The foam and fabric did have a bit of a production odor when unwrapping for assembly, but it was gone in a day. The chair looks really nice and the gray is more of a white color, which adds a bit of brightness to an otherwise dull space. So far everything is holding up well, but I expect, because the arms are fabric and not rubber, they will start to wear first. I will update this review with issues, should any arise.
