I couldn't believe there were no reviews on these. I usually don't buy products with no reviews. I consider it a gamble. Boy, am I glad I ignored my own advice with these. If a product meets my expectations, I'm content. This is one of those rare occasions when a product actually "exceeded" my expectations. These bar stools are absolutely stunning! Their clean, minimalist, contemporary design is modern, yet still stylish. The bold, robust contrast stitching is what sets them apart. The "Ink Black" color maximizes this effect. As soon as I lifted the shipping box, I knew the construction was substantial. The best way I can describe the framing is, it's basically wrought iron, except hollow. It's very strong and completely rigid. Once assembled, they don't flex, wobble or squeak one bit. They're rock solid. The cushions have ample padding and are extremely comfortable. The adjustable feet are a welcome addition, assuring that each chair has a stable footing. The storage pocket on the rear of the seat back is a unique touch. The quality of the faux leather seating material is first rate. It's thick and supple. Looks and feels just like the real thing. On top of everything else, the price is reasonable. Assembly is very simple. There are only two different size screws. After a quick glance at the instructions, you won't need to refer to them again. You'll be able to whiz through assembly on your own. One word of advice, if you don't already own one, buy yourself a ratcheting screwdriver with hex bits. You can pick one up for only a few dollars. An L-wrench is included, but using it during assembly makes for a very slow process. Each stool has 20 screws. I bought a set of four, so I had 80 screws to install. In my opinion, this is not a downside. It's a positive. This is what makes the construction so solid.

These are beautiful and decent quality but they are small. When sitting on them, the seat goes to the middle of my thigh. I have to put my feet on the bar below to stay on. (I’m an average size woman). These would be great for a petite person.

VASAGLE EKHO Collection Bar Stools are a sophisticated mid-century modern designer piece. You will readily recognize their high-end craftsmanship, with genuine-looking synthetic leather and refined stitching that far exceeds cost in visual quality. Despite the effortless assembly marketing, the real-world experience requires precision and attention to detail during setup. (I learned that minor orientation errors with the leg components will lead to permanent stripped hardware and failures in assembly.) Ergonomic comfort is evident. There is a quite small diagram I missed with lighted penciled tiny hands pointing to holes in one of the pieces to indicate that parts with specific holes have to face upward, or there is no place to attach the back. I missed this detail, and it stalled the whole process. Putting stuff together is not my thing, but for someone with a better knack for assembly, this might be the right set. The Allen wrench and bolts are easily prone to stripping if high pressure is applied or if parts are misaligned, which an amateur might not realize. The parts are labeled, and it’s not too difficult a task to put together, but the physical act of tightening the frame is too taxing for an old guy like me, leaving me sore. Part count might be low, but the physical effort is high. The integrated storage is a unique feature found in the back pocket on each chair (though I feel a bit like in an airline seat). Fabulous looking chairs overall!

Beautiful and well made island chairs! Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I assembled one while my husband assembled the other one, and in total it took about 30 minutes. It was very simple. Keep the feet towards you while screwing the legs together and everything should go smoothly. The seat itself is one piece so you just have to attach the legs. The color is a rich forest green and very beautiful. The stitching pattern on the seat is even and well stitched, with no loose strings or missing lines. I love the pockets on the back and it really adds to the overall look of the chairs. The height is bar stool height, about hip high on me (I'm 5'3). Its easy to get on and off of them, and theres a bar along the bottom to rest your feet on while sitting. The stools are very stable and dont wobble or creak when using them. Its made of fake leather, which is very easy to clean. Just a simple wipe down with a soapy rag works perfectly. We use these chairs daily, as we have them sitting at the kitchen island. Its been an excellent purchase, so now my littler kids can sit safely and hang out with me while Im in the kitchen cooking or cleaning. These chairs are excellent quality and worth the price by far. Highly recommend them, and have even sent links to family members that asked where I got them because they also love the chairs. 5 stars from us!
