Get the black RB505. I extensively researched all Recumbent Elliptical trainers/bikes with arm exerciser and foot platforms (not strap-in bike pedals). The packaging was excellent and the mechanical workmanship exceptional. All nuts, bolts, connections, everything are precision made, no cheap hardware. Recommend assemble with real tools (socket, box wrench, torx/star tool, screwdrivers); not the toy tools provided. No need to remove rubber bands that hold electrical connections, just don't pinch any wires. If anything seems loose, just shake and fully tighten up looseness after assembly and upon initial riding. Works smooth as butter. Quiet. I'm convinced the RB505 is the very best for cost/benefit. It takes time to unpack and to assemble, but worth it. I unpacked one day and assembled the next. Don't be in a hurry. RB505 Trainer works great with zero negatives. Big Seat is absolutely worth it. Instructions are sequential with good numbering of every piece, although they sometimes say nuts & bolts in the singular when obviously should be plural. We put ours between his & her matching recliners in family room, twelve feet from 85" TV. Commit to this highest weight capacity for its sturdiness and you won't regret it no matter what your size. ... show more

This bike is amazing! Really well built for the money! Very easy to assemble, sleek and EXTREMELY QUIET, smooth operation, and very easy on the knees and good for them as well. Comfy seat and backrest, too. Please note on assembly, DO NOT cut the zip tie from the pedals to frame until instructed to do so. I absolutely love this recumbent elliptical cross trainer. It is sturdy and easy to adjust. It took my son about an hour to put it together. With the wheels on the front it is also easy to move from room to room. I am 74 year old woman so ease of getting on and off plus adjusting the seat is important. I have had this bike for around 8 months. I ride it every day for an hour putting around 9 miles on it each day. I always feel like I have received a good full body workout and an excellent cardio workout. I would definitely purchase this bike again. ... show more

This is a great purchase for several reasons. First, it is pretty well built. I bought it because it was a similar footprint to what is used in many cardiac rehab and physical therapy settings. It’s perfect for me and I love having it at home and not have to keep changing back the settings and positions. Second, it is very well built and heavier than the competition in this price range. Also extremely important is the great customer service. I had a question, and it was answered in a few hours. I also like that the seller has an actual website and easy to find contact information which the competitors do not. It is silent and smooth running. Also noteworthy is the size is a bit smaller than competitors which makes it easier for smaller areas. I shopped around for a while and found this to be the best value. ... show more

I bought this bike to use at home on days when I don't go to the gym. Assembly was straightforward. It took me about 2 1/2 hours working alone. There are a lot of parts, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I was impressed that the build of the bike is quite sturdy for a home model. It does not feel cheap or flimsy, like some other home workout equipment. On the plus side, the bike is quiet, the forward-back seat adjustment works well, and the display screen is simple and functional. On the down side, the arms are not adjustable. From an engineering POV, it would be pretty easy to create a mechanism for making the arm shafts longer or shorter. Also, the ability to tilt the handles would be nice, but is not a deal breaker. The back rest is firm and not adjustable. That's okay, but I find the seat a bit hard and uncomfortable. I added a memory foam seat cushion, which improved the comfort a lot. There are 8 resistance settings. I'm in good shape, but still cannot comfortably go higher than "2." The resistance curve rises very quickly Overall, for a machine at its price point, the VANSWE offers very good value for the money. It has been reliable so far, and allows me to get a good cardio workout without having to go out in the cold or rain. ... show more
