Had the advantage of a scissor lift at the plant so might be harder installing with a step ladder if high up on a wall. Will repost an update if the clock mechanism does not keep good time. Instructions are clear with pictures to follow along, but maybe some helpful tips. 1. I started by hanging the template and standing back to make sure of placement. 2. After hanging the clock mech per instructions, I taped to wall so it would not spin as I moved the template. 3. The adhesive on numbers is STRONG. I just tore off small part in case needed to reposition. It is hanging like that now, will see if they stay up or not. 4. I did not follow instructions on installing clock hands first time around, make sure they both line up with the hole on top where you hang it. 5. Finally, I just put up the 12, 3, 6 and 9 digits first to see if level and neat. Then added rest. 6. I skipped adding the "TIME" lettering provided. What else is it? Outdoor temperature LOL. This is replacing 3 small wall clocks that used to hang in a small factory. Was pain always adjusting 3 different clocks. Now just one. Would buy again. Would be happy if had wall suitable in my home for this. Looks good. ... show more

Purchased this and followed instructions exactly. Everything went fine with the install. Set the time and now I have finished this install. Then 18 hours after install the clock was three and a half hours slow. I removed the battery and checked it on a battery tester and it showed a full charge still. I got another new battery and tested it to make sure it was full charge also and then installed it into clock, set the correct time and put back up on wall. Then overnight the time was off again by a couple hours. So the issue is with the clock works itself. Now the dilemma is to send it back and I would have to tear everything off the wall and hope no damage will be done to my wallpaper and repackage it or can I get just the clock movement piece to replace the bad one so I don't have to take that risk. I will try for the latter and see if I can get a clock movement first. I contacted the company via email. They got back to me within a couple days and with my situation they said they would take care of it. I gave them my Amazon order number for the clock as requested. Then a couple days later they emailed me again and said just the clock motor will be sent to me and they apologized. A couple more days later I received the new clock motor and I assembled it and put on wall where the other one was. It has been a week and it runs and keeps perfect time. I am very, very happy with this wall clock and with the manufacturer. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again. I have recommended this to other family members that saw it on my wall. This company did everything right. Someone told me that it should have worked with the first one. Well anything that has moving parts can fail at any time. I have had expensive items fail and cheaper items fail. I don't usually give a review on Amazon but I thought this deserved one. Nowadays getting anyone to replace a defective item is like asking to pull their teeth. They stood bye their product and made things right with me and that in my book means everything. Edit 2: It has now been over 3 years since I put this clock up and it has finally gone out. The mechanism still produces a ticking sound but the hands do not move and it does not keep time. Overall I am fairly impressed with the lifespan for the price. The numbers have held up well so hopefully I can replace just the mechanism. Edit: I’ve had this clock for roughly a year and a half now and it still works great. I haven’t had to change batteries yet and the clock still keeps the time pretty well. None of the numbers have tried peeling off the wall and it still looks as good as the day I put it up. Good quality clock. It comes with everything you need to make the install go as smoothly as possible. Yes it takes a bit of time and patience to get everything lined up, but that is not a flaw on the product itself. That is to be expected on any DIY like this. I hung this clock above my desk and it looks great and keeps perfect time. ... show more
