I got a couch in my office that is way closer to the ground then I like. These came in handy. No rubber bottom so it definitely slides around as I don't have it on carpet, but mine is again a wall. The sliding is fine for the ottoman. Doesn't seem to scratch the floor. Light weight but strong structure. This also helped to create some under storage, but I haven't got anything under there yet. ... show more

I purcgased a bed that was too low to the ground. I didn’t want to return it because I loved the bed. So I tried the furniture risers, and they definitely do the job of raising the bed. They are sturdy and provide a nice hight boost, which is great for extra storage space and makes it easier to get in and out of bed. However, I’m not a fan of how they look. They can be a bit of an eyesore, which was a downside for me. My recommendation is to use comforter that covers the rises completely. This way, you get the benefit of the extra hide without compromising on style. Overall, they work well, but you might want to hide them with some clever betting choices. ... show more

The risers are sturdy. DO NOT DROP THEM ON A HARD SURFACE. they shatter. Do not expose to moderately freezing temps. Do not move the furniture with them installed. Otherwise they are stellar. They seem pretty darn sturdy. I was concerned about the center being a weak point for pressure but the center of them are reinforced enough that I’m not concerned. No support goes from the center to the floor. All support is around the base, but the reinforced spans near the top inside center give me confidence these are strong and hold center weight well. ... show more

TL;DR: While offering adjustable height, the Utopia Bedding risers prove to be unstable and inconvenient to use, especially when attempting to store them. I recently purchased the Utopia Bedding Adjustable Bed Furniture Risers with high hopes of elevating my guest bed for extra storage space when guests are in town. However, my experience with these risers has been less than satisfactory. One major issue I encountered was the difficulty in placing them under the bed. Due to their design, I had to lift the bed to slide the risers underneath, which was quite cumbersome. Additionally, once the bed was in place, I found that the risers tended to fall out when attempting to scoot the bed back into position. This instability made me nervous, especially when anticipating guests. While the adjustable height feature is convenient, I noticed that the risers felt particularly unstable when set to their maximum height. This lack of stability only added to my concerns about their durability and safety. Furthermore, storing these risers proved to be a challenge. They do not stack well, which means they take up a significant amount of space in the closet. This lack of efficiency in storage was disappointing, as I had hoped for a more compact solution. In conclusion, while the Utopia Bedding Adjustable Bed Furniture Risers offer the convenience of adjustable height, their instability and inconvenience make them a less-than-ideal choice. If you only require one riser and can tolerate the inconvenience, they may serve their purpose adequately.
