I had this product for the last 6 months and it has worked great! I feel unwell quite often and being able to watch a movie while I crochet in bed has been such a delight! This DVD player has great sound quality and playback memory. It is so convenient and easy to use. For some unknown reason, it stopped reading disks recently, but Fairy from ieGeek Customer Service Team was super kind and courteous to send me a new DVD player without any charges. So amazing that they did that for me and I didn't have to worry about a thing! I loved receiving efficient customer service without any extra hassle. The DVD player works amazing as always! I read a lot of reviews on a lot of portable DVD players before selecting this one and, for my needs, I'm very happy with my purchase. The price is extremely reasonable compared to others. The quality overall is better than expected. I haven't had it for too long but it's definitely been in use, and I haven't had any disc skipping issues. The picture is great. The sound doesn't get as loud as I'd want it if I was using it without headphones, however, I'm always using it with headphones so I didn't factor that in my rating. The volume with headphones is great. I've used it in the car via the headrest mount (sold separately) and it worked great and was easy to attach. I've had no problem with the battery holding a charge. I'm pleased with this product. If you know what you expect out of a portable dvd player going in, this one does what it says and is holding up. Also has a warranty.

Have only used this for about a week or so, but it seems to be quite nice. I have gone through quite a few of these dvd players because I buy them for my special needs son, as he loves them for watching movies and listening to music. So it will get A LOT of daily use. I don't think, however, you really get a full 5 hours of playing time.... probably more like 4 or so. Hopefully this will last.

I'm not into streaming services, at all. I literally had both my Netflix and hulu subscriptions cancelled this year because I had to get a new debit card and I didn't care about renewing my memberships. Not to mention that I barely used either service (especially hulu) because Youtube has become my replacement TV for the most part, but the thing is is that I'm been on Youtube way more than usual, these days and I want to take a break from it. Two good friends of mine got me into DVDs and Blu-rays a year ago and while I mainly use my PS3 to watch them, I wanted to have a device that at least, lets me play my DVDs anywhere in a nice form factor, so I bought this. I've had this thing for a few months to see how it fares and so far, I'm pretty happy with it. Playing DVDs and Music CDs on this little guy all work pretty well, although I haven't tested any discs from other regions nor have I tested all the other features that this thing has to offer yet. But aside from that, the device itself looks and feels like a solid piece of tech (and I love the color, but that's just me. ;) Anyway, the buttons on this device feel great and are easy to understand, the speakers on this thing impressed me with how loud they can get, and while I'm not into screen resolutions whatsoever, the screen on this thing looks pretty good, too. - Final Thoughts Overall, I recommend getting this. To me, there's something special about devices like these and I'm glad that there’s companies out there that actually care enough to still make these, even years later. It's nice to use this in bed and even in my car when I'm on break at work and looking to kill some time without relying on my phone and Youtube to do so. Obviously, this thing is bigger than a smartphone and bringing physical CDs anywhere is never going to be as convenient as everything just being digital on your phone, but for me personally, I don't care. The only major benefit of digital media IS convenience, but that doesn't mean that it's always going to be there when you need it, as I experienced that myself in the past with streaming services. - Edit: 12/30/2024 I still like this thing, but in the few months that I've used it, I have experienced a few problems. There are times where the player doesn't want to play my DVDs whether it be not at all, or random cuts to the video will happen while playing, even though the discs are in pristine condition. When this happens, I have to stop the player, take the disc out, then put it back in and that usually solves the problem, but it's still weird and annoying to deal with when that problem comes up. Granted, I don't use this player 24/7 and I make sure to give this player a break (namely when watching a TV series, I'll turn it off after watching two to three episodes and I'll turn it off after watching one movie), but still.

I just got it and played a movie on it and so far I am in love with this. It has the connection to see it on a tv and you can also turn off the screen to see it only on a tv. Haven't tried the sound with the tv yet. The screen can move to both sides. I personally love how clear it looks and for a small device the audio sounds pretty good. I did show in my video review that it still plays even if I'm a bit rough with it. Tho I don't recommend turning it upside while on as it might damage some fragile stuff but other than that it's looks and works as intended. Will update if anything happens

UPDATE: The company went more than an extra mile to make sure I was happy with their dvd player. They get a 15 out of 10 on customer service and satisfaction! They sent me a new one and it works perfectly -- very quiet and no skipping. And having tried a different brand in between, I can honestly say I prefer this one primarily because the picture is ever so much better -- it is oh-so-sharp and much more clearly viewable at a wider angle of the screen. I think it is really cute, petite and so easy to travel with, so easy to use, and I love the headphone jack. Another big plus for me is there is no annoying LED light on the front which I found distracting on the other one. Haven't tried all the bells and whistles yet, but I am thrilled with this. Great for traveling. Great in bed. Great for power outages. Long battery. I love it!! You will not go wrong with this brand, this company, and their responsiveness to any potential problems or questions. ORIGINAL: I wanted a mobile dvd player, and this fit the bill and was reasonable. However, I think mine was not working correctly. From day 1 it was noisier than I expected, which I would have put up with, but it often froze and then started up again about 20 seconds later, skipping the 20 seconds.

It works great, sound is great, picture is amazing. Only thing is that the buttons are loud when you push them and when the dvd is loading or anything it makes this awful annoying noise. I guess I figured for the cost it would be quiet and not make noise like that. And unfortunately it won’t let me upload a video……go figure.
