I had expectations that truthfully were not in the description but it seemed to me that my thoughts were correct This band is quite wide, the elastic is only at the corners (😕). It will work best on old mattresses where the sides are more ridged if you want the sides of the sheets to stay in place. It does keep the corners in place for the most part. I have a 16” memory foam mattress. I use deep sheets but I found the “corners” of the fitted sheet did move especially at the top where we sit and sleep. I was very hesitant to purchase something pushing $50 when I really was unsure if I could make it fit in my expenses and not knowing if it would work or not. My thoughts are half and half. I like that it does hold the corners, let’s say 9 out of 10. The sides not so much, 4 out of 10. I expected it to be a complete elastic wrap so when I opened the package and saw it was only the corners I wanted to send it back. My daughter was there to put it on and she said you have to at least try it. It got put on and on her way out she took my trash along with the packaging to the trash shoot. I’m used to it now and like I said I had expectations that weren’t spoken of in the description. I would not purchase another one at that price. The original intent of the designer was that his mom or perhaps grandmother didn’t like that her sheets came off the mattress so he designed this strap to hold the sheets. For those that can’t get the fitted sheet under the mattress all you have to do is just tuck things between the strap and the mattress. These new memory foam, rolled up in a box mattresses are soft around the edges and I’m wondering if a strap of wider and more elastic than just the corners would work better. The joints in my hands are swollen and painful from arthritis and made tucking in sheets on our thick foam mattress a difficult chore. This makes bedmaking so much easier. once I got the band on which was much easier than I feared, putting the fitted sheets in place was a breeze. Our sheet corners don't pop off anymore and changing the matress pad and sheets is easy and fast. This product exceeded my expectations and I would definitely buy it again. My hip and leg arthritis makes it difficult to lift the mattress and put the sheets under. Those pesky corner clips pop open. So, I am hopeful this will keep stuff neat and secure. I’m not so fussy if it loosens a bit, if I can restuff and smooth out in the morning. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We have tried everything, straps for the corners straps across five spots on the bed and straps around the bed similar to this product. All are just very hard to use when you change sheets, makes back heart. Now the Better bedder fixes all that, everything gets put on the bed and then slid this over, the corners are succored it’s great. The fitted sheet stays in for most of the time, till right before time to change. I don’t mind but my wife likes the straps, we’ll she doesn’t have to do the work. I still love this, I used straps for the fitted sheet and this for the top sheet, what’s great is my feet are free at the end of the bed (I’m tall) so now they have freedom of movement where when I used the straps for the top sheet they were tight. I bought this after watching Shark Tank because my husband’s main complaint about the linen sheets is that they get bunched up and wrinkly through the night. I thought this was worth a shot and it does make it easy to tuck into in the morning, but I’m not sure if it’s any different than just tugging on it without tucking it in. It fits, but not snug enough to really hold the sheets. It’s more of just a clean look if you care about not seeing the sheets peek through the blanket. I can’t figure out what else it’s for. Also if you want to use it as a pocket, make sure it’s tucked under the mattress tightly; it didn’t work well for this either. We have an adjustable tempurpedic mattress, so it was easy to install, just as it’s easy to put on sheets already. Had to install it twice actually because instructions I didn’t read instructions completely before starting and the thick elastic goes at the top. I don’t mind it, but i don’t know if it really serves a purpose worth keeping, either. Would like to see elastic all the way around, maybe. ... show more

Unfortunately it really didn't keep the sheets together I don't know what the big talk was all about but when I wanted to change the sheets it was even more difficult to always have to put it back on. I am certainly better off with it than I was without it and for me it works just fine. This way when I change the linen I don’t have to lift the mattress and then have to mess with the dust ruffle. That said the bottom sheet which in my case is fitted or contour depending on what you call it wrinkles while I am sleeping. It doesn’t bother me and I don’t notice it until I go to make the bed in the morning but for some people that might be a problem. The sheet never pops off but I do smooth it down daily. In addition there is no way that I could have put the better bedder on by myself initially. The good news is that you only have to do that once. I tuck in my top sheet and a lightweight blanket and they stay put all night. Since making my bed each day is a breeze and takes less time than before, I am happy with the product. I guess the bottom line is what you expect and what you are willing to accept. ... show more
