The product is built sturdy, however, for it to stand up to a busy toddler the top sections needs to be outfitted with a 4th component to provide maximum stability. Without this only 3 sides are connected. The two side rails are connected to the foot rail, but the head is not. I strongly recommend an upgrade.

The media could not be loaded. I recently bought this bed guard and I’m so impressed. The one I used before would wobble a lot — my baby could pull on it, shake it, and even create gaps, which made it feel unsafe. He actually toppled it once when he stood up and pushed on it. But this one is completely different. The installation is tight and secure from the start, and there’s no way my baby could shake it loose or create any gaps. I didn’t expect such a big quality difference, especially since most products are around the same price. Most bed guards require drilling screws into the frame, but this one doesn’t — and it’s still incredibly sturdy and well-designed. I’m genuinely very satisfied with it. Highly recommend!
