My kids' bed railing was pretty short so I got them one of these. My 5 year old is a roller, so I was worried. It works great though, fits into the frame, and is sturdy enough for him to push against and not fall. Overall is a great product and was easy to assemble. This has a very good balance of price and material. The overall design is intuitive enough and isn't terribly intrusive to make one claustrophobic if you were right next to it. It help it is a sheer reinforced white with center mesh so light projects through giving the illusion of not being closed in. Pros: - decent materials - good design overall (bar up/down system) - dual bar locks - simple nothing complex - none claustrophia-inducing white sheer nylon and mesh material - secure under mattress system Cons: - Dealbreaker!! if you have a bed frame that sinks the mattress down even an inch, it will not fit right because the "hook" with nylon straps need space between the mattress and frame rails (about 1 in or so). You will not be able to pivot this down if not level/flush and it will strain or damage the rods if the force of the mattress bulging around it is high enough. In short, this is my second because I loved it for my master bed which had a box spring and then the mattress it self so the dealbreak didn't affect it. However, I did not realize that the guest bed that my son now sleep on does sink the mattress down into the support ledge about maybe 4 in and the mattress is tight into the frame....made it very prohibitive to install. I kept it to use when I convert my baby daughter's crib but as of now it is coupled with a shorter wooden one given to me that wasn't high enough. Makeshift for now until I convert the crib to a daybed. Then I will use it there as intended. ... show more

Time to move the grandkiddos to a bed and this keeps them safe. I like the netting instead of the old rails and the fact that I can fold it down to change sheets makes it super handy! I have 2 cats and the bin is large enough that I typically have to empty it about every 4-5 days. Comes with a large roll of bin liners and 2 fresh scent pods. The unit functions very quietly is quite attractive. MUCH better than an open pan of litter sitting around! The app that is tied to my phone is very handy, but only works when at home, so if I'm away, I don't get notifications on a problem. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

The stitching began coming apart on one end of the railing which has threads hanging off of it now. I believe my daughter may have played with and pulled on the threads making it worse but it should not have come apart to begin with. It started only about a month or so after buying it. I was skeptical before buying this product but i was wrong. This is a very sturdy and durable bed rail. Attaches easily to most of the standard bed frames and can be easily rolled up and down. The safety net is breathable in case your child sleeps against it. Mine did a few times. This works better on beds with box and mattress.
