This is a great bedside lamp. I really really love the look. Modern and stylish but not out of place with traditional solid wood bedroom furniture. Only reason I gave it a 4 is because you can only touch in one spot instead of anywhere on lamp. It has 3 settings but is tricky to get the brightest setting since the touch spot is so sensitive. We just moved into a condo and I have been running around town trying to find inexpensive lamps for the extra bedroom. I don’t know why lamps are so expensive. Finally figured out that we’re paying double at home stores because of the assembly. When we do it ourselves, we can save half the amount. I had these assembled in less than 10 minutes. Good quality. I bought these as a set and one of the lampshades appears to have a more pink tone to it than the other. I also used the same lightbulbs in each lamp to make sure it wasn’t the lightbulb itself, causing the lampshade to look a different color. I really liked these BUT the shades are awful. You have to put them together yourself, which isn’t hard but the packaging causes them to bend up and therefore, As you can see from the pictures, they are crinkles and bent. So it’s a disappointment. I really like the base. Not sure if the wrinkles will come out on their own or do I need new shades?!?!!! ... show more
