I am 5’7 and 215lbs, but I don’t carry much of my weight in my chest or stomach. I am usually a 1x or 2x in Amazon clothes but I bought the 6x brown corset (because of the comments I saw) and it fit great. The construction is amazing, I’m shocked at the quality for what it costs. Just make sure you size up at least 3 sizes (which I know is annoying but I was willing to risk it for the quality) from what you’re used to and it should fit great. The size chart is actually pretty accurate. It’s perfect for putting together a quick renaissance faire outfit!!

This looks great even if to the touch it's obviously costume quality. The "leather accents" are thin and delicate. However, it's a costume piece that I'll be wearing once to a ren-faire. Generally speaking, 5 stars for the costume-quality corset. Sizing is the hardest part for which they lost a star - although I suspect their main problem is that they have several different options using the same sizing chart. I bought the Brown-8110, which has a 6" modesty panel under the ties in the back. Thus, there is a much greater range in measurements for each size than indicated. My measurements are bust: 41" and waist: 38" - so based on the size chart I was somewhere between a 2X (bust fit 40-42) and 5x (waist fit 38-39). Since all the reviews said to size up I went for the 5x. That was way too big in the bust even with the ties pulled completely tight. With the large modesty panel on the back the actual measurements of the 5x were about 46-50 for the bust and 38-43 for the waist (I've attached a photo with me stuffing a pillow in it to get these measurements). I then went and ordered the 2X. With it loosened to the widest setting (and with a bit of a sucking it in) I can fit 37" at the waist. Once latched it's fairly comfy and seems wearable (sufficient structure and strength to shift the fat rolls around). I think the 3X would have given me a little more breathing room but this will suffice. Given the 2" shift in the size chart and my two data points, I SUSPECT the actual measurements for the sizes are as follows: Size | .US. | Bust(in) | Waist(in) ..XS | 2 - 4 | 30-34 | 22-27 .....S | 4 - 6 | 32-36 | 24-29 ....M | 6 - 8 | 34-38 | 26-31 .....L | 8 -10 | 36-40 | 28-33 ..XL | 10-12 | 38-42 | 30-35 XXL | 12-14 | 40-44 | 32-37 *Confirmed ..3X | 14-16 | 42-46 | 34-39 ..4X | 16-18 | 44-48 | 36-41 ..5X | 18-20 | 46-50 | 38-43 *Confirmed ..6X | 20-22 | 48-52 | 40-45 ..7X | 22-24 | 48-54 | 42-47 I will report back if it survives the day at the fair. Edit - it survived the faire (about 4 hours). I even used those leather straps details to hold a skirt tie and a rather heavy pouch, and both surprisingly survived that abuse. It was universally agreed that the latches made it MUCH easier to put on versus the typical closures on a corset. It survived a ton of walking and the eating of a turkey leg without issues. I didn't wear it for the long car ride there since it pinched at the waist a bit when sitting.

This is such a stunning corset! Pictures just don't do the beautiful metallic brocade fabric justice! Its so shiny and beautiful the colors are super bright. As for the size it deff runs small. I am 5’11“ and wear a size 16/18 and a 36DD bust. I ordered a 6x and it fits beautifuly. With a small 1/2gap in the back lacing. So please do take this into account when ordering. The bodice itself is very comfortable, the quality is nice, the lining is heavy and looks as though it will wear well. The busk in the front (the clips) is made of a stiffer but flexible steel and gives great support while still being able to breath and move. The rest of the boning material is flexible but supportive. All in all, a great buy and I'm happy I got it. I even ordered the same style in a different color and pattern because I loved it so much.
