Works well for my need for hands free speaker talking (as a mic should). Had this for 1.5 months and still works fine. One star down for low volume. The volume control doesn't really increase volume at all. I also had to fiddle around as it did not connect consistently when using an external AC powered USB 3.0 hub. Works great as replacement when you get your program app (Dragon) to sinc with new mike . I tried using it without reading full installation instructions and it was recognizing 8 of 10 words correctly. When I sinced the previously learned words “VOILA” almost all words were recognized!

Nerve damage which means that one of my hands doesn't work as well as it used to. I write a lot and typing is much slower than I like. I have come to depend on voice dictation and this microphone, particularly for the price, has the least errors of any microphone I have ever used. I particularly like the desk microphone, because I don't have to put on a headset when I almost never use playback. I can put the microphone behind my keyboard, a foot away from my mouth, and speak normally, and the words are picked up clearly. ... show more

I was skeptical to buy this cause I’ve had a bad history with mics (I work from home making calls) but it works amazingly well. The mute button is a plus! Haven’t tried to see background noise but I’m happy with my purchase

Used in Conjunction with audio software like 'VoiceMeeter' and 'Nvidia Broadcasting', this is a very good microphone. You could do better, but not by much and not without seriously breaking the bank. Regardless this 192/24 Bit Condenser mic with a cardioid pattern is a very capable mic... so capable you'll end up hearing everything in the house so you may want to lower the 'properties' level and download a professional program to help you manage the different levels (Audio Gates, De-noisers, equalizers, etc.) After some adjustments it's sounding better than some of the podcasts I listen to on my morning routine. CON: Twisty knob is so delicate a piece snapped off upon first reposition, luckily this piece does not affect functionality only looks. Give it an aluminum strap to tighten instead or just something stronger ... show more
