  • Even came with the zip tie.
Hardest part was taking the trunk apart. Great product, I paid more and so should you. No cutting of the most connector and having it fit right in and then having the correct zip tie. Nice. Plugged it in and sound came right back. Ty

  • It works. It's that easy and simple to fix the issue I had.
I have an E90 335i and the radio wasn't working. Head unit turned on and worked fine, but there was no audio. I found a video on YouTube that explained how to diagnose the issue by checking all the optical connector points at places in the trunk. Through that I diagnosed that it was the Satellite Radio / Phone / Nav / Etc thing in the back under the trunk cover (silver box with wires), and then ordered a Optical loop off amazon. Once it arrived it took about 10 seconds to unclip the cord, install the optical loop and then I wrapped mine with electrical tape to secure it. Went back in the car and turned on the radio... SOUND! For the first time in about a year since I've had it in storage. This issue was relatively easy to diagnose (pray it's not your amp that's bad), was a low cost fix and the result worked. Item arrived quickly and it just works. Glad someone makes these things. ... show more

  • Works Great! Fixed my SOS Call System Malfunction!
2007 BMW 530i with that was getting an SOS Call System Malfunction warning indicator. I had no sound from my CCC system. I installed this bypass loop at the Satellite Radio module in the trunk. Apparently this is the module that failed. Module is located in the back left side of the trunk. Once the bypass loop was installed, all sounds returned and the warning light is gone. Great product, highly recommend. Note that a different module could be causing the issue, so you have to try all of them, one at a time, to see which one has failed. ... show more

  • Outstanding customer service!
The stereo cutting in/out In my wife’s BMW 330i Has been the source of irritation for the last 2+ years. Our local BMW dealer quoted us $1100 to fix this issue, which I politely declined. Recently I stumbled across this fiber optic loop fix on YouTube and decided to purchase one. Directions were straightforward and very easy, even for someone like myself who HATES chasing electrical gremlins. In our car there was four modules that could be suspect so one by one we pulled the green connector and placed the fiber optics loop into that connection (which affectively bypasses that module from the system) and then checked to see if the stereo was again operating correctly. Went through the entire system and to my dismay the issue still persisted. I remember reading many reviews before I purchased this Fiber optics loop and it was mentioned that the gentleman (Adam) who Manufactures and sells this item Is very willing to help troubleshoot if need be. Matter-of-fact there’s also a small card that accompanies this fiber optic loop with contact information should you have a problem. I contacted Adam and within 20 minutes I received a text message and then a phone call. Honestly can’t even remember the last time I had a vendor contact me willing to help remedy a situation. Adam went through each step with me and while doing so I explained that over the last 24 months I had replaced a couple of the modules with used in an effort to remedy the situation. Adam explained to me that these pieces have to be coded correctly with the same identical software for them to function properly In the system. He advised me to put the old modules back into place and then troubleshoot the system again. Within 10 minutes of doing this found that the TCU module that also handles Bluetooth for the car was defective. I can honestly say in all my years I have never experienced customer service like I received from this gentleman in his company. Definitely owe him a huge debt of gratitude. His product and customer service is second to no one. ... show more

  • Solves the No audio problem
If your reading this you have done extensive research on how to get your audio system going in your bmw. I have a 2008 BMW 750li. The satellite unit when bad causing the whole "I" drive system to go down. The system operates via fiber optic cable. this loop bypasses the bad unit thereby give you audio again. The loop takes 10 seconds to install but to get to that point takes 10 mins. You must pry the inside trunk panel on the driver side to expose the satellite unit. have a small zip tie ready to secure the loop in place to the original fiber loop. While your in there take a pic of the Bluetooth module if your car is equipped with one. you will need that to pair your phone to the car. This unite works!! ... show more

  • What an easy fix!
I was getting the annoying SOS yellow dash light. Apparently, my BMW E60 (5 series) has a fibre loop in the car that serves several linked systems. If one goes out, it blocks the signals from continuing on to complete the loop and creates the error notification. I was getting the SOS light, and my Bluetooth phone utility was not working. Most advice I found on the 'net said it was likely a failed unit located in my trunk, and they recommended installing this item as a bypass, removing the equipment (my Serius satallite radio, that I was not even using) from the loop. Found the fat green wires, perfect fit, tested it before putting my trunk back together and it has worked perfectly since then. Easy, cheap fix for an annoying problem. ... show more
