These headphones work very well! I've only had for a few days, but my gaming experience is much improved. The sound is pretty good, but if you're an audiophile, you may want something a little better as they lack that extra clarity and fullness that you would find with a higher-end headset. I will update this if the next game I play sounds better.. could just be a game thing. The ear pads are super comfy and do a great job sitting over my ears without hurting and they work very well with glasses. I barely even notice I have this headset on except for being able to hear the game well and when my daughter or wife scared the snot out of me because I don't hear them coming. While it doesn't totally block out outside sound, it does a good job of isolating the experience. The connection to the console was seamless and had no issues getting everything set up quickly and easily. The included USB dongle made connection even easier. Congrats, turtle beach - this is the way using a new headset should be - easy! The microphone on this is good and according to my gaming buddies, sounds a lot better than my old one. These last a good long time time before they need recharged, even out of the box. No complaints so far on this front. Overall, I would recommend this headset to anyone looking for a lift in their gaming audio. After spending money on several cheap pairs, I am glad I spent the extra money for this. ... show more

By far the best & most durable Turtle Beach headset yet I was skeptical at 1zt but finally Turtle Beach hit it out of the park I have gone through a few Turtle beach headsets through the years & they were some of the most uncomfortable & fragile pieces of junk I've ever seen. Until now it seems Turtle Beach finally learned there lesson & listened to there customers As this headset is the most comfortable & most durable headset yet.. a little to pricey for my taste but well worth the money.. Plus not only are these easy to pair to your playstation 4 but these also pair very easy with the playstation 5 & work beautifully on the playstation 5 & come in very crystal clear.. plus love how they made the mic close up inside the headset for extra protection Good job Turtle Beach don't ever go back to the old style build on this one for your future headsets cause finally you got it right.. If your looking for a reliable Turtle Beach headset this is finally the chosen one to buy might be pricey for most but totally worth it... ... show more

I ordered this headset when I finally caved in and bought a PS5 earlier this year. My sibling uses Turtle Beach products and swears by them, so I figured this would be a good place to start. Unfortunately, I have run into many flaws since receiving them. Some of which make the experience of using them feel like a hassle. However, the issues are (usually) pretty easy to fix, therefore I’m still giving it 4 stars. Here’s my breakdown: Pro’s: -Great sound quality; sound is loud and clear. -Minimal microphone issues -The “flip up to mute” microphone feature is a wonderful one. Very convenient. -Ear cushions are comfortable, there is even one on the part that rests on your head, so it doesn’t feel like it’s digging in to your skull. -It was relatively easy to set up when I first received it. Con’s: -I’ve been told my mic sometimes makes me sound like I have a “high-pitched” filter on it. Usually restarting my gaming system helps resolve the issue. -Although the “flip up to mute” feature is convenient, I have been told the wiring can wear out over time—rendering that feature useless. It still works for me at the moment, so only time will tell. -It frequently fails to automatically pair when I turn the headset on. It worked perfect and seamlessly every time for the first month or two, but it has slowly gone down hill. Sometimes restarting my gaming system and/or the headset will solve the issue, but there are special occasions where I have to move the wireless USB connector to a different USB port to resolve it. -Headset will often shut off unexpectedly, even with full battery. -Sometimes when I turn on the headset, the voice that says “battery level ___” will cut out and start buzzing really loud until I restart the headset. Overall, I really enjoy the sound quality, mic quality, and features this headset offers. I just expected higher quality and less connectivity issues given the hefty price tag. I’m still on the fence about whether I’d recommend this product to a friend, or re-purchase this product in the future. ... show more

I use it with my PS4, to listen to music and videos on my phone and PC and to make calls and take meetings. It comes with a USB transmitter that you can plug into the PS4 or computer to send audio signal- AND THEN have it connected via Bluetooth to either your phone or pc or other source and you will hear audio from both. Listen to music while you game! About 3 to 4 times it has acted up and I had to Google how to reset it. Just now inadequate to run a repair tool on it when it failed tonl update and malfunctioned. But it goes back to working every time. It's a pretty sophisticated and high quality piece of equipment on my opinion. The sound quality is great, pads are super comfortable and I get no pain with extended play. The app has adjustment settings including the standard bass boost and such. You can flip the mic half way up to quickly mute yourself. Then bring it down and it unmutes. It's been a real joy to own and I hope you buy it. To Turtle Beach I would say if you make future versions with the USBC jack able to accept audio signal, you probably have my business for life. Oh and the Grey is more elegant and subtle for use outside of gaming. Like I said, it for video business meetings. Buy this! And be ready to troubleshoot when it acts up but it will work again. Learn to hard reset and Google the recovery tool. Enjoy. ... show more

Edited review: after a few months one of the headphones snapped. It started out with pieces of the plastic housing coming off and then eventually the entire component snapped making the headset useless. Now I agree with all those folks that say the headset is just too tight. They were great after they loosened up but the stress from loosening up caused the plastic to crack and finally give way. Total piece of garbage compared to my older turtle beach headset. Original review: I bought this specifically for my ps5 and pc. I haven’t used the app yet, and don’t plan to unless I need an update. Lots of negative reviews I’d like to address, but before I mention them just return the product if it’s not operating to specs before posting a review. - Poor range - really? I go from my living room. To my kitchen to grab something out of my fridge to drink which is well over 15 feet away with no sound loss. - Tight fit - Um duh. It’s a metal band headset. If Turtle Beach pre-stretched them the complaint would be it’s too loose. Yes, it was a tight fit initially. I used my end table with a drawer and just cupped them around the top and bottom of the table which isn’t as thick as my head (no wise cracks) but made for a more comfortable fit. They will eventually fit more comfortably without needing to do anything but wearing them though. - Connection issues - does the usb dongle pulse when connected? Then either your usb connection is bad or the dongle is bad. The connection itself takes a few seconds to 15 seconds or so when I swap from my ps5 to pc. Overall I’m happy with the headset and would buy it again if my dogs decide to make it a chew toy later (I’ve lost one in the past). :) ... show more

I’ve used this headset both on my PS4 and my PS5 and I have not found a more better headset between the 4 high-end gaming headsets I’ve owned. The sound is amazing in quality with accurate direction for games that require you to be on your toes. The cooling gel and the leather ear cups will always make your experience comfortable, especially when you put them back on for your next gaming session. A lot of reviews will mention that this version compared to its predecessor does not have noise cancellation. However, the density of the ear cups offer natural noise cancellation, which I’ll argue is better. And if you want to hear what’s going on around you there’s an option on the headset that’s easy to reach to adjust the volume at which you hear your surroundings. The battery life on these headphones are amazing, when I play I try to play for 3-5 hours and I find that I only have to charge these headphones once every two-three weeks. The headphones also offer Bluetooth connection to your phone, which I personally haven’t used but is cool if that’s what you’re looking for. Lastly, you can also use these headphones for PC gaming too, which I certainly didn’t expect but made me more happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend these headphones to any avid gamer out there, I think you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better pair. ... show more

After watching/reading countless reviews of headsets in this price range, I decided to go with the Stealth 700 Gen 2. I gotta say, I'm very impressed. The sound quality is great, and can get very loud without distortion. Playing games like Modern Warfare really showcases what this headset is capable of. Loud bass-filled explosions, yet still able to pick up subtle footsteps, with decent surround sound and sense of space. This headset is also VERY comfortable. I can wear them for hours on end with no headaches or pressure points. The whole "glasses-friendly" thing might sound like a marketing gimmick, but it's no joke. This is the only headset I've worn that's legitimately comfortable with glasses. Both the RF and Bluetooth connections are seamless and very fast. I also love the mappable slider for controlling Bluetooth volume. Overall, I'm incredibly pleased with this headset. It is a quality product with great features and superior comfort. In this price range, the Stealth 700 Gen 2's are the best bang for your buck! Turtle Beach has really stepped up their game and set the bar high! ... show more

Imma keep it real with you chief, this headset is the most comfortable headset I have ever owned. The ear cups and weight of the headset are both perfect. It is a wonderful sounding headset and the mic is good, when it decides to work. Having Bluetooth at the same time as connection to the playstation or pc is phenomenal and has made me look for that in future headsets as a requirement. I purchased the headset in March of 2021 and this review is being written in July 2021. In that short amount of time the headset connectivity has been a steady decline of reliability. Over the course of 4 months the headset has been taking longer and longer to connect to the dongle upon starting and while being connected the headset will lose connection with the dongle if a direct line of sight isn't maintained. I have had my legs blocking line of sight while no more than 5 feet from my playstation and the headset will disconnect. This connection issue carries into the microphone capabilities. I have a ethernet connection with speeds of 900mb down and 40mb up, which rules out wifi problems, and while in playstation parties the microphone will skip and sound robotic. It is described as barely coherent and sometimes it just stops broadcasting your voice. This has been a large problem over time with the headset. I have 2 other friends who have also owned the 700 gen 2 and they have experienced these same problems. Either its a fluke with 3 of the headsets turtle beach has produced or there is something wrong with this headset. I have stuck with turtle beach for years and they have been my go to for gaming headsets but with the turtle beach stealth 700 gen 2 I have to switch to a different brand of headsets just to get the basic capabilities a headset has like clear mic communication. I love many things about this headset but due to its connection being very unreliable I can't recommend it. ... show more
