These arent going to blow the roof off, but the sound that comes from them is very accurate and provides another dimension to your games and movies. The power brick being roughly twice the size of the speakers is wild, but I was able to easily hide the cables and bricks. At first I wanted to turn these speakers up and really hear what they can do. I quickly realized that leaving them on neutral or 0 in the bose music app provided the most immersive sound experience. Everything just blends together all around you and you cant even really tell which speaker is making the sound, it just feels a part of the room. I have the soundbar 900 and bass module 700 and it the setup is minimalist, attractive, and pumps enough noise to bother any close neighbors. Enjoying the setup overall! ... show more

    • Solid purchase. A little pricey. Wireless while maintaining BOSE sound.

Ok here is the deal with these. You really don't get LOUD out of them when watching a movie because they are only going to pick up certain sounds and deliver those specific sounds at a surround sound level based on the volume you are listening to. EXAMPLE: you would here the hills of a persons shoes while walking and that should not be as loud as a person talking or the echo of wind. The speakers deliver background/echo/supplemental/additional/ sounds. Not going to deliver the sounds nor level that is coming from the Bar. The 700 Bar and 700 sub (without these) are a solid combo for watching movies. These speakers don't produce loud sound during moovies because its SPECIFIC sounds hat they are design to produce during movie play at a specific volume. (MY OPINOIN) The addition of these speakers are very noticeable. Now playing music is when these speakers absolutely pop which completes the 700 system, (Bar, Sub, Surround speakers). Their sound impact is BOSE and unmatched. PERIOD!!!. You will not be disappointed with this buy at all. I was almost going to send them back until I played music through them. Rock, Country, Rap, R&B, and Blues. The wireless feature and maintaing the BOSE quality wirelessly brings the price which I do think is still a bit high. But you know BOSE is going to charge for it. I think BOSE could have sold these speaker for less money. For this reason, I gave them a 4 star for "value for the money." If you want BOSE but on a tight budget then you can enjoy Bar and Sub. Set up was easy. Told the app to find the speakers. At first it only found one but moving the un-connected speaker close to the 600 Bose sound bar made the difference. Really like controlling the volume, as some people have written that there is no volume. Volume control is accessed through the app. I didn't want to get black speakers or put them on stands - too much clutter. The "white" model of these 700 Bose rear speakers actually have a white plastic top and bottom caps, but they are shiny metal. The metal reflects the color where they are placed. These are place in the corners of the window sill and reflecting the white trim paint become almost invisible. ... show more

    • A must for a complete home cinema experience!

I recently bought the Bose 900 soundbar and 700 subwoofer. I am extremely happy with both of them but still felt that was an element of that full room sound experience missing. I was hesitant to buy these 700 surround speakers because of the price for such small speakers, as well as the reviews saying how quiet they are. Let me say right away that if you plan on using adaptiq for these, you are probably not going to like them because of how quiet they are. I personally don't use adaptiq at all on my system. I find that tuning it to my preferences is the best option to get what I want out of it. If you use adaptiq, these are going to be very quiet. An option to do is cover them with a rag while using adaptiq, thus quieting the pings from the tune and having them tune themselves louder. By not using adaptiq, these put out a TON more sound. They absolutely give me that full room sound cinema like experience that I want. Also, these are not for bass. These are for all of the clearer high end surrounding sounds that you aren't hearing with out them. The full music sound, the shoes on a floor, the explosions and bullets feeling like they are whizzing past you. I was completely hesitant on these but I am glad I decided to try them because they absolutely make a world of difference in your audio experience. HIGHLY recommend ... show more

    • Connectivity issues - bad experience

Update: I am updating my rating to 4 stars. I struggled with set up initially. Almost returned the speakers. Then I thought I’ll give the setup another try. I recycled the power and tried the set up again and it worked and has been working fine now. I do think that less technical folks may struggle. The sound quality is great. ——- The speakers look cool and the sound is good “when” they work. I have spent hours trying to connect my sound bar to these speakers (they are supposed to be accessory speakers). They connected initially. Now they are not connected. The Bose music app shows that they are connected but there is no sound. The sound bar remote which is the other way to connect these, is a challenge to use. You cannot read the labels on the remote. It’s hilarious how stupid the design is. Overall a really bad experience after spending over a $1000 on try to create a home theatre experience. ... show more

    • Horrible and Frustrating to set up

I had originally Bose soundbar 700 with 700 Bass and surround sound speakers . I always felt that the sorround sound was weak and could hardly hear from them . SO when surround sound 700 came , I bought these . But the set up has been a nightmare . I remembered that earlier too setting up the sorround speakers had taken me many hours of repeated tries to get it synched and it often got unsynched leading to another few hours of re synching . But the sorround sound 700 has been even worse . I spend 5 hours on sat and another 4 hours today but either sorround speakers are not getting synched . I tried everything like factory resetting the soundbar to unplugging and re plugging multiple times to switching off the 2.5 Wifi . But not all 4 gets synched . I am tired and frustrated and thus my rant . Other than the setup - I am super happy with the sound though ... show more
