My husband has been using these and absolutely loves them. The sound quality is really good, and they’re an upgrade from his old Astro A50. They’re comfortable enough to wear for hours without bothering his head. The wireless connection is solid overall, though he did mention his old headset had a better range — he could walk to the fridge without disconnecting. The mic quality is clear and his friends can hear him well. Setup was easy, and switching between his Xbox and PC is convenient. He has the PLAYSYNC Audio version (not the PLAYSYNC Video & Audio), and it still works great for his setup. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would, but 5 is fine. This headset sounds great. The volume is loud, the battery is good, mic is fantastic, the charging dock is a huge plus. I would only take of half a star because for some reason, this headset makes my ears hurt. I've bought aftermarket pads that have bigger ear holes, but something is just putting pressure somewhere. Don't let that scare you, I still wear them multiple hours, but there's definitely some ear soreness from it; it was definitely worse with the stock pads, so some bigger aftermarket pads are recommended; which is better, but doesn't solve the problem completely. I do wear glasses, so could be pressure / clamp force related. ... show more

Wow these headphones are amazing. First of all, it's easily one of the most comfortable pair of headphones I've ever had on my head and ears. The sound is superb and you can change the settings in the equalizer. Extremely good sound quality and seemingly no latency for a wireless connected headset. The mic: The mic ACTUALLY sounds good! It's so rare that the mic connected to headphones sound anywhere decent, let alone having a quality sound! I couldn't believe the clarity in the mic especially in the broadcaster mode. Unbelievably convenient: The fact that the stand included charges the headset is a serious game changer. I haven't had to plug a wire to the headset ONCE, the headset lasts all day for me and at the end of the day I just put them on the stand and BOOM! It's charged the next day. The ability to seamlessly switch between different devices is amazing. The sheer convenience of having to deal with no wires and just letting the stand charge the headset is genuinely life changing. The headset has a perfect weight to it and it sits on my head very comfortably and I can keep them on for HOURS without problems. (I tested them with my glasses and they're still very comfortable with them!) The only con I'd say is that it's a bit pricey, but if you value the amazing features this headset offers, you might consider it worth the purchase! Overall it's an amazing headset! ... show more

I played for the last 8 hours today on this headset and I am blown away. This is the BEST headset I have ever used. I used the old A40’s for over 10 years. They were a beast of a headset and put me ahead of the competition for years. The only problem was that it was wired. The cord would frey over time and eventually screwed up the mixamp after too many rage induced drops. I decided to get the audio sync only as I have little to no desire to pull up the video at the same time as the audio every time. I tend to play the devices one at a time with no need to switch my HDMI along with it. If needed I can switch it by hand. The headset charged very quickly and was easy to understand out of the box. Watching a YouTube video on the set up might help if you have any questions. The a50s are extremely comfortable and somehow light while retaining their solid feel. The mic quality is unbelievable, you could stream with how good it is. Seriously! Even though they don’t have noise canceling, I cannot head an outside sound while they are on my head. Bluetooth is great and the controls on the side of the headset are a little strange but it only took me a few hours to get used to them. (Such as to mute the microphone you just push it up). The sound quality is amazing for both music and games especially, you can hear footsteps from so far away. I love the Bluetooth feature as well, it’s just such a great headset. If you have the money I’d pull the trigger. If you really need to switch your monitor at the touch of a button get the PLAYSYNC + Audio version. But for me the audio version is perfect. The only problem I have is the Astro command center app for PC but that’s a different matter entirely. ... show more

The best headphones i have ever used. I had gen 4 before this and I will continue to buy the next iteration of these headphones until they stop making them. They are comfortable, have amazing sound and are Dolby compatible. Switching from Playstation to PC is a breeze, no need for multiple headsets laying around the house with this All-in-one. The logitech software actually works compared to the old astro command center! And lastly you can customize the band and ear muffs to top it off! ... show more

Bought this after my Nova Pro Arctis had this recurring noise after a software update. Could not get it to revert back or get fixed. Sound quality seems decent, charge lasts long enough during sessions, but I only really use the headset for at most 4 hours at a time, and it shows half of a charge remaining. The main reasons that I am rating this 3 stars involve how the charging base works, as well as comfort of the cups and mic issues. - You do not connect to the headset directly when using bluetooth. You connect to the base itself. This is different from the Nova Pro that lets me connect directly to the headset and use it outside of my office area. Overall the range of the Astro allows me to walk throughout my living space, but not being able to take out outside makes it worse. - I switched the cups for the WC ones. I had them for the Nova Pro, but something about the rectangular design of the Astros just does not fit well with my head for long sessions. The posts that you use to adjust them also don't hold very well. - The mic is put together with one screw. It loosens up over time, and doesn't not hold in a specific place outside of all the way up in the off position, and all the way down. You have to take the protective foam on the side with the mic, and tighten the screw that holds it in place. I am not sure yet if the threading is plastic or metal, but I'm leaning that they went with the cheap design of it being plastic. This will cause me to constantly have to tighten this screw to be able to adjust it. This is by far one of the most annoying parts of this headset. It seems like this is a design choice they have implemented for a long time. I would not purchase this headset again, considering these issues that I've had with the headset. I mainly leaned into this one because my other peripherals were Logitech, and I had a white theme with my current PC that I wanted to maintain. ... show more
