Worthy Upgrade.
I’m moving out of the beginner stage in pickleball and wanted to move to a better paddle. I’ve been very hesitant about buying a higher end paddle as I wasn’t sure if it would make that big of a difference. After doing some research, I decided to buy the YVMOVE Gravity700 hoping it would help elevate my game. This is the 3rd paddle I’ve purchased. My first paddle was Nuipipo paddle. It was a good value paddle but it had some drawbacks for me that as I began to play, I quickly felt the paddle was holding me back I then decided to increase my budget a little bit more and purchased a JP Winlock paddle. Between these 2 paddles, I didn’t notice any big performance improvement. The JP Winlock was slightly better and I think it had to do with the handle length that that felt better in my hand, probably because I have larger hands. The YVMOVE however, feels like a huge upgrade. It feels more solid and stable when making contact with the ball, especially on harder shots. I also notice more power and spin compared with the other paddles. The surface of the paddle has much better grip to it that actually makes putting spin on the ball much easier. I always wondered why it was so hard to get a good spin on the ball with my previous paddles. The longer handle and cushioned grip is a lot more comfortable for me. For someone who is brand new to pickleball, you probably don’t need to spend extra money on a paddle like this right away. But if you’ve played for a bit and plan to continue, this would be a great next paddle. I think the Gravity700 is a worthwhile upgrade. I wish I would have purchased this before my 2nd paddle. It would have saved me money. Now I’ve seen similar paddles to this that range in price from as low as $49 to well over $200. On the lower end, most appear to have similar specs however after doing a deeper dive I found that some of the lower-end paddles had made up names for the type of foam used in the core, were not certified for tournament play or some reviewers noting that one side of the paddle sounds and feels different than the other side. On the higher end, there’s one paddle I was seriously considering that was priced at $219 which was a big step up in price from this one. That model was essentially identical in specs but at $219 I thought the price/value was much better on the YVMove. I just got this so it is early in me using it but so far, I’m very happy with the purchase and feel like it gives me room to improve rather than being a paddle I’ll quickly outgrow. I just wish I upgraded sooner. Now if anything changes with this paddle, I’ll update my review. ... show more

Exceptional Control, Spin, and Value! Beats $300+ Paddles!
I’ve been putting this paddle through its paces over the last week in both competitive open plays and drill sessions. If you are looking to elevate your control and soft game without losing punch on your drives, this paddle delivers in every aspect! Control & Touch: Exceptional. The soft, absorbed feel off the raw carbon surface gives you immense confidence when resetting hard hits and dropping third shots into the kitchen. Dinking battles feel effortless because the ball doesn't wildly pop off the face; instead, it holds just long enough to let you place it precisely where you want. Sweet Spot: Very generous and forgiving. Thanks to the perimeter foam injection along the edge guard, off-center hits still retain solid energy and direction. You don't get that dead, jarring feeling near the edges, which is a lifesaver during fast-paced volley exchanges at the kitchen line. Power: Balanced and controlled. It naturally leans toward a 60/40 Control-to-Power ratio, which is ideal for players who like to construct points. However, when you need to put the ball away or execute a heavy baseline drive, the core provides plenty of pop. (Tip: Adding a small amount of lead tape to the 3 and 9 o'clock positions gives it an extra plow-through boost if you're a hard hitter!) Spin: Top-notch. The gritty T700 raw carbon texture grabs the ball remarkably well. Whether you're imparting heavy topspin on your serves to keep opponents deep, or slicing low dinks that skid off the court, the spin potential is right up there with high-end paddles. Handle Comfort & Grip: The grip feels fantastic right out of the box. The perforated ridge grip offers great sweat absorption and cushioning, preventing twisting during off-center hits. The handle length is also comfortable for both one-handed shots and players who like to use a two-handed backhand drive. Compared to Entry-Level Fiberglass Paddles: The difference is night and day. Standard fiberglass paddles tend to feel unpredictable, overly bouncy ("poppy"), and send harsh vibrations down your arm. Upgrading to this raw carbon paddle immediately gave me cleaner feedback, vastly superior spin, and far better touch control. Compared to Premium $300+ Flagships (JOOLA Perseus, Selkirk): This paddle easily offers 85% to 90% of the performance of top-tier $300+ flagship paddles at a fraction of the cost. While premium brands might offer slightly more brand prestige or a hair more pop, the spin grit, sweet spot size, and vibration dampening on this model are shockingly close. Pros: USAPA Approved for tournament play, incredible raw carbon grit for spin, generous sweet spot, comfortable grip, and insane value for money. Cons: Power players might want to add lead tape to customize the weight distribution for maximum drive speed. Whether you’re an advancing beginner looking for your first real carbon paddle or an intermediate player wanting high performance without breaking the bank, this paddle is an absolute home run! High quality, great feel, and tournament-ready. Highly recommended! ... show more

High-performance paddle
After trying several beginner and mid-range paddles, the YVMOVE Gravity700 stands out as a significant upgrade. The paddle offers excellent control, a large forgiving sweet spot, impressive spin, and a comfortable elongated handle that works well for both one- and two-handed backhands. The raw T700 carbon fiber face provides noticeably better spin and touch than entry-level fiberglass paddles, while the foam-enhanced construction helps reduce vibrations and improves stability on off-center hits. Despite its control-focused feel, it still delivers plenty of power when needed for drives and put-away shots. What makes the Gravity700 especially appealing is its value. It delivers performance that rivals many premium paddles at a much lower price point, making it an excellent choice for advancing beginners and intermediate players looking for a tournament-ready paddle without spending hundreds of dollars. This is a high-performance paddle that offers a noticeable step up from entry-level equipment and provides plenty of room to grow as your game improves. Highly recommended. ... show more

Pro Pickleball Paddle
I have been playing pickleball for two years. The first year, I didn’t know too much about the sport, but this past year I have really gotten into the game. I have bought over 10 paddles, testing out all the different types of technology. This one from YVMOVE is at the top! First, the design is super slick. The white handle with the white edges looks amazing. Next, I love the elongated paddle. I use two hands on my back hand, and this allows me enough grip on the handle. Finally, the grit on the paddle face is insane! The amount of spin I can put on my shots is deadly. I would recommend this paddle to any type of player, and it will fit your needs. Great power and control
I am extremely impressed with this new carbon fiber and foam core pickleball paddle. It has a great combination of power, control, and feel, with a mid grit surface that makes it easy to target and place shots. The paddle is lightweight and balanced in your hand. The quality of the paddle and grip are excellent, and the grit helps to apply a good amount of spin. Overall, this is a fantastic paddle and is my new go to. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a new paddle! ... show more
