Listen, if you own chickens, you know the struggle. You spend half your life hunched over like a gargoyle, sifting through wood shavings and dreaming of a world where your backyard doesn't smell like a biological hazard. This scoop is the peace treaty I’ve been waiting for. The "Back-Saver" Handle: The handle is long enough that I can actually stand up straight while I work. It looks sturdy and working well so far. My personal preference would be for the end not to curve up, but be flat, so it's easier to scoop the sand with it. The way it is, I have to angle if more upright to be able to dig into the sand.

Just received this, assembled and tried it out in my chicken run. I have sand in my run, and needed to upgrade from using small cat poop scoops. I am very satisfied with the quality so far. The rake and handle are more solid than any rakes I've used for dog poop. I feel like they will hold up very well. Sand falls through easy. Holes are 3/8" circles on bottom of scoop and 1/2" hexagons on upper half. I was debating between this and another blue colores popular tiktok one. But the scoop on this is 4inches wider than the other version, so I thought I would check this out first. Handle is also nice and long. If I end up changing my mind, I'll update my review. Otherwise a solid 5 stars on this!

We have chicken sand in the bottom of our pen. We have 6 chickens and our run is 9’x27’. The shovel/rake is the best one we have found. It makes quick work cleaning up after our girls. I highly recommend recommend it. Very sturdy and efficient.

We had another style scope that did not work like it said. We tried this one that said the same thing. We are pleased to announce that it does work like it says!! My coop is so much cleaner with this scoop! I have more sand left on the ground than in the waste too! Well made with tough plastic. Easy assembly with the supplies tools.
