I did a lot of research looking at different options for under desk treadmills when I wanted to be more active during my work day in the heart of winter here in Colorado. I have had this treadmill for a couple months now and here are my thoughts: 1. A lot quieter than expected. My office has a carpet floor with a plastic chair pad that this sits on when I'm using it. I have no issues with noise even when I crank it up to faster speeds 2. Lightweight. I tend to set this against the wall in the back of my office when I'm not using it, and as a 5'3 athletic-ish female, I have zero issues moving this. The wheel placement is fantastic, the overall product is light weight and I'm still surprised at how thin it actually is. Perfect for apartment/small space dwellers that want to slide it under a bed/couch. 3. It gets the job done. I'm not a runner, and I knew when purchasing this I would use it specifically for walking during my work day and if it gets used outside of that, then so be it. For me, it's perfect. I tend to walk and work at around 1.7mph and find that speed perfect for me. However, you can crank it up to 3mph with the guard rail down to which is seriously hauling! I wasn't looking for a traditional treadmill with incline, etc. so if that's waht you're looking for, then you're barking up the wrong tree here. 4. GOD BLESS THE REMOTE. This remote works SO WELL. I have had zero issues with increasing/decreasing speed, having any distance issues, etc. I keep this little guy on my desk at all times but the place it stays on the treadmill itself is great, too. Cons 1. I know there are other products out there that are a little more tech advanced. It would be awesome if this product had an app that you could keep track your week's walking or have some sort of data storage built in. 2. The time screen. Probably the biggest gripe I have with this is so simple - the display screen for the time. It does not show seconds, only minutes. So if you're like me and need to focus on a count down of some sort, you won't get it here. It will only show you the minutes completed, no seconds that continue to count. A very small thing, but still annoying. Overall, if you are looking for a solid product under $500 to keep you a little more active during the day (or after work) this is a great option. If you're looking for a daily indoor run that's simple and flat, it's also a great option. I think it's best to know what you're actually looking for before purchasing, though. Super happy with this so far a few months in!

Note: This review has a happy ending. Bought this treadmill as a surprise gift for my husband's birthday. It arrived 4 days ahead and I hid it in a closet until his birthday. I was super excited to give it to him and he was thrilled when he received it. He unpacked everything and maneuvered it to his office. Plugged it in, flipped the switch underneath to turn it on, the display lit up, he pressed start from the remote, everything did what it was supposed to do, but the treadmill wouldn't activate. Ok....start over. Still nothing. Grabbed the instruction manual and made sure the magnetic safety latch was closed (or as the manual says, "make sure it's on," which I believe is misleading.) Still...NOTHING. We repeated this process at least 12x, unplugging it, moving the cord to a new outlet, raising the handle bar, locking it, putting it down. Was he too heavy? No. Still no movement. I tried. Was I too heavy? NO (I'm 150lbs). No progress. On 2 occasions while standing on it, an "E02" error flashed briefly, but then went away. We thought, aha! We didn't add lubricant! So we grabbed the bottle, emptied 10mL into the little whole, then unplugged everything, switched it back on, pressed start, beep beep beep.....and again, NOTHING. We tried manually rolling the belt to see if it would start. Nope. After 90 minutes of this plus googling and watching videos (which weren't helpful -- this thing should be just plug and play), not only was I about ready to cry in disappointment (remember, this is a bday gift) but we decided that this treadmill was indee defective. I emailed Urevo.. then decided to call Amazon. They tried to provide "product support" but all they did was read off the trouble-shooting section in the manual. It was decided a replacement needed to be shipped and the only option was that it would take a week to arrive. (*Heavy sigh*) But as it turns out, as I was on chat with Amazon, my husband was lifting the treadmill to start putting it back in the box and he heard a faint "plink" coming from the underside. He turned over the treadmill completely and saw a bottom panel. He removed the panel with the screwdriver as his suspicion was that something might be loose in there. When he lifted the panel, he saw one thin red wire laying unattached to the motherboard. There was only one place where it could be plugged in, so he stuck it on and turned the treadmill back upright. That did it! Treadmill started right up just as it should and problem fixed! He easily replaced the panel on the back, moved the treadmill back to the desk area, and away he went....happy as can be! We suspect this wire just came unplugged during shipping. So the moral of the story is: If this treadmill stops working suddenly or never worked straight out of the box, you might want to check to see if all of the wires are attached by removing the underside panel. Not suggesting you do anything to void the 12 month warranty, of course, but this is the trick that worked for us and it was an easy fix. As for the review, I gave it 4 stars only because it was a hassle for 90 minutes trying to get it to work, plus he's only used it for about an hour this morning so not enough time to give it a long term assessment. It rolls easily but still a bit heavy. Love that the handles fold down for a smaller profile and it is the exact size for a 5'10" dude walking about 3mph. It is low noise (not whisper quiet but not too loud either) and it looks really modern and sleek. He prefers to walk on it with socks or slippers, not shoes. The one downside I see right now is that if you are someone that switches often between treadmill and sitting at your desk, then you're going to need a nearby, convenient spot to store this as you move it back and forth frequently (which might be a bother for some people). It also attracts dog hair quickly! It only lies flat so if you enjoy walking/running on an incline, you're not going to achieve that with this model. I don't know about the "safety magnet" either. If you have the handles raised and trip or fall, I don't think you'll be able to flick this little lever in time to get the belt to stop. But overall, pleased with it so far. This is the first home treadmill we've purchased and it fits under his desk perfectly. I foresee a lot of use outta this thing. PS. BTW, in case you're wondering, yes, I did cancel the replacement from Amazon.

I use this treadmill with my standing desk, and it's a good combination. The treadmill's profile is just low enough for me to work with my desk fully elevated. I'm 6'3", and the treadmill's handle bar is a bit too short for me to use ergonomically. But I wouldn't want to hold on to the treadmill while typing, so that's not a big loss. The included remote control works well, even if the handle is folded flat. The belt is smaller than many treadmills, but that's to be expected due to the machine's portability. It's still large enough for me to walk comfortably. It's fairly easy to move the treadmill out of the way when I'm ready to lower my desk and sit on my chair. The treadmill may not have many fancy features, but it's affordable and works well enough. The only thing that kind of bothers me is that it stops after 100 minutes. As soon as the timer exceeds 99 minutes, the displayed time resets to 00 and the treadmill stops. If I press the start button, it starts right back up again. Update: The treadmill developed a new behavior. After walking for about an hour, it beeps and increases it's speed to 5 mph at random times. Stopping and starting it doesn't help, but unplugging it for a few seconds fixes it for a while. It's very annoying and potentially unsafe. I eventually determined that it's responding to a light source that it mistakes for the infrared remote. The remote sensor is behind the display, so I covered the display with electrical tape. That makes the display useless, but at least the treadmill stays at the set speed now. Update 2: After about 3 months of use, the treadmill started making an awful scraping sound and the motor started getting really hot. I only walked at about 3 MPH, and I kept the belt lubricated and adjusted as instructed, but the machine just couldn't take it. The plastic around the motor deformed from the heat, and there was a burning smell every time I used it. The seller graciously offered a replacement, even though the 3 month warranty had just elapsed. Update 3: I've had the replacement treadmill for about 8 months, and it's dying. It sounds awful. It overheats. The plastic under the motor is deforming. I don't expect it to last much longer. Update 4: I walked for 65 minutes today, and the motor got so hot that it melted a hole in the bottom of the treadmill. I had the treadmill on top of a polycarbonate chair pad to protect the carpet. The polycarbonate warped from the heat. I'm worried it's going to start a fire if I keep using it.

When I say this product lives up to everything in the description, I’m going to say it again it lives up to everything in the description! I have always wanted a treadmill in my home or apartment. It came already assembled, and all I had to do is put the little latches in the side where the handle is to tighten or loosen whenever I wanted to have the handle upright. This particular product was priced very well. It’s quiet, smooth, and the size is exactly what I anticipated and hoped it would be. My apartment has a lot of carpet and rugs. I was at First disappointed when reading the directions and instructions and warnings that you’re not to run the treadmill on carpet. Then I immediately saw the mat. I should have ordered at the same time. I’m very, very, satisfied with this product. It has lived up to everything in the description. I love that I have a iPad and it has a little item where I can put my iPad on it and allow me to look at all the different places in the world while I’m walking. There is inside purchase where you could pay $79.99 for a subscription for just that. It’s worth it because it gives you different variations of Fitness that you may want to do as well as accomplishing goals in your fitness. That works for me and at $80 once a year is worth it.

I have a gym membership that I can’t use because I have sciatica nerve pain, I was also in a recent car accident that made the pain worse. I purchased the UREVO walking pad this past November for home use and still couldn’t use it because the pain hurt me to walk. I’ve since had back surgery and I’m using it for my recovery and exercise. This is the best and perfect in-home walking pad. Easy set up, easy to use in my own home, great digital display, remote control use, quick stop safety feature, not noisy like a treadmill, and fits perfectly in any space even under a bed. I keep mine up so it’s ready to use. UREVO walking pad is helping me with my surgery recovery too. Because my home is older, I use a surge protector for electrical added protection. If you’re unsure of purchasing this amazing product, I hope I have changed your mind. I absolutely love it!

Avoid this 2-in-1 if you have wide feet or a long stride. It's a lovely machine, but with its space conscious design, it was plainly designed for those with a slighter frame than mine. The belt had no issues moving with my 235 lb frame, but my strides regularly ended up to either side of the belt, making contact with the motor box, and running off the back while I had no issues keeping pace. In fact, the power of my stride sometimes seemed to hurry the belt. My complaints certainly do not stem from the features. The connection between my phone, app, treadmill, and smart television allowed the functionality of the challenges and around the world content. I was quite enthusiastic about it. Ieven enjoyed it until i realized how frequently the belt left me feeling like a bear walking in a chute designed for sheep. I can see why a person would love it if their shoe size wasn't a 12 2E. The included instructions were easy with to follow and there wasn't much required for setup. The videos that accompany the treadmill require a fair deal of polishing - the attempts at composing English text were about as successful as mine would've been at composing Mandarin. The product seems sturdy and well built. It should fit reasonably in a home with space to spare as long as you're observant of its dimensions. I found the belt to be comfortable when my stride fit with it. The speed of the treadmill/ walking pad is easy to adjust, but there's nothing to do if you're in my position. It's discouraging enough to make you give up on affordable options if your body dimensions don't fit the average in fitness, regardless of weight.
